It is a big and heavy grinder but it makes short work of big jobs. We used it for paint stripping on concrete. Cut-off wheels will cut 1/2" thick cold rolled 1018 steel like nothing.

Answer:	It works on more things than you'd imagine, including your fingertips. I use it mostly on PLA plastic but I'm sure I've done on ABS at some point for repairs. Dissolves painted surfaces sometimes so be careful with that. But mostly be careful getting it on your fingers, because if you're squeezing to hold something for 30 seconds to cure, you might end up with your finger on there too.

Answer:	Depends on what the desk is made of. For example- use your finger nail and drag it (lightly) across your desk, or use a piece of scotch/masking tape on the desk and take it off. No material/wood should come off your desk when you do so. If that's the case, you should be fine using this product. If anything comes up, I wouldn't recommend it as this will adhere a wee-bit stronger overtime (as you press down on it by placing items, weight, etc on the desk overtime). If you buy the version that comes with disk drives, and if you purchase a 3 year ProSupport contract from NetGear for $299, then you have peace of mind that you are covered for all expenses when hard drives fail. I own an older 2008 model ReadyNAS and I have had to replace all four of my drives at least twice each so the ProSupport contract has been totally worth it for me. But my time is up, it is no longer supported and I now have to buy a new model.
