| Answer: | This weather strip is designed to be used with a threshold; otherwise the weather strip will drag the floor, mark the floor, and wear out.You should have at least a 1/2" tall threshold with a 1/4" to 5/16" gap between the door and the threshold, so that after the weather strip is installed it will fit tight against the threshold. You may have to cut the bottom of the door to achieve the desired fit. |
