Answer:	We only had it for a couple days and it did not hold air overnight plus took a large space to be able to fill with air. Would not recommend for indoor use which is what we intended to use it for.

Question:	Will this work for a double mortice lock
Answer:	If you mean 2 hooks that come out instead of one....yes it will.
Question:	How can I lock from the outside with the key? When I turn the key to lock then back to middle to remove it unlocks again
Answer:	I had this problem too. I could lock the door with the key, but when I rolled the key back to remove it, the door would unlock. I found a vid on you tube that explains that, if this is your problem, then remove the lock and rotate the flat stick 90* and put the lock back on. Now I can lock the door with the key and roll the key back to the “pull out” position with the door remaining locked. Here is where better instructions would help!!
Question:	does this work on sliding doors made by anderson
Answer:	I just successfully installed this keyed handle onto a “50 Series American Craftsman by Andersen” gliding door. The door is a 4-hole 1.5 inch with 3-15/16” mounting holes. At first, I didn’t think it was going to work because I could lock the door with the key but couldn’t pull the key out. I found a vid on you tube that explained that, in this case, pull the lock off and rotate the flat stick 90* and put the lock back in. Once I did that, I could lock the door then roll the key back to the “pull-out” position. Same for unlock.
Question:	Does this fit a milgard 450 aluminum patio door
Answer:	Your mounting hole spacing has to be 3 15/16". The mounting hole spacing for the mortise lock on the edge of the door is 5.400 inches.

If your door knob set is acting up or broken, this E 2537 Mortise style fluted glass door knob set is the perfect choice for updating and fixing hardware on interior doors. With a beautiful and classic fluted glass and bronze finish, it’s the perfect choice for your antique or vintage interior doors. Installation is a breeze, and the glass door knob set features 2” outside diameter knobs. These door knobs are for interior use only, and includes a 17/64 in. x 3-1/2 in. steel spindle with 3/8 in. -20 threads.



This classic style door knob set fits square drive spindle systems commonly found in antique and vintage door hardware sets, and it can adjust to accommodate different door thicknesses. The diecast base on these knobs include the set screws for fastening the knobs to the square spindle, but it does NOT include any of the following components and they must be purchased separately: The internal mortise lock body, the door rosettes, the trim and strike plates, or the latch and fasteners. For matching rosettes see Prime-Line’s model number E-2543. Prime-Line Products does not currently manufacture a matching latch bolt, but you might consider using model number E-2497 which is a complete vintage mortise lock set in a classic bronze finish.



Note: This item cannot be used on pre-bored doors that have large, newer style door knob holes without first prepping them to receive this hardware.



Installation tip #1: Because the fasteners of the rosettes (purchased separately) require a solid surface to mount to, the large 2-1/8 in. (approximate size) holes must first be filled with a hardening filler, to then be able to receive the rosette fasteners. Products like Fix-It-All and Bondo Body Filler have worked well for some, but care must be used to avoid damaging any prefinished door surfaces during application and finishing.



Installation tip #2: Apply a small amount of Loctite ThreadLocker 271 to the set screw threads in the event they are loosening – Loctite purchased separately.

These knobs are made from glass and measure 2 in. in diameter. They have a die cast constructed base as used on interior and exterior locksets and a 1/4 in. square spindle. They come plated in classic bronze and fit most old style passage doors.

Question:	my doors are only 1 1/2" thick with these work on my doors
Answer:	My doors are also 1 1/2" thick. These work fine on my doors.
Question:	Does this knob set come in a privacy model
Answer:	What does that even mean?
Question:	Can these be used as dummy knobs
Answer:	The two glass knobs attach to the square metal rod by small screws on the knobs. I would say no to them being used as a dummy knob since the knob themselves cannot be attached directly to the door. You could drill a smaller diameter hole than the metal rod, then insert it through the door and put the knobs on. You would still need some type of finish plate since there is none included with this knob.
Question:	Will the 2328 door knobs fit through the silver plate E2439 door knob rosettes
Answer:	Two things will determine your answer: your overall door thickness, PLUS the thickness of both silver plates(one on each side of the door) compared to the length of your rod when both knobs are secured at each end. You could also reuse the current rod, if not damaged.
