You can then point AutoPing to that router or to a distant device, say Google's name server at 8.8.8.8 for example. You can safely assume you've lost Internet connectivity when you can't reach 8.8.8.8. If that occurs, the single AutoPing instance can restore connectivity by power cycling any number of outlets in any sequence. ie Cable Router, then DSL router, then Firewall, then Server. 2. You can create multiple instances of AutoPing for several independent devices, ie eight individual IP cams. Each instance can be separately and uniquely configured.
