Answer:	First of all make sure your using alkaline batteries for some reason they work the best with these.. check and make sure that all of your holes are lined up with the lock.. if they're not lined up properly sometimes the combination lock will not work right..

Answer:	Latch plate alignment is a problem with all sorts of locks. When I upgrade passage sets in my house I often find it necessary to file the plate to get alignment correct. And I do the same with exterior locksets at a commercial facility that I help to manage, including the installation of thousand dollar Trilogy locks. The alignments of different manufacturers' locksets can't be assumed. Just sayin...

Answer:	Is the keyboard lighting up? If not make sure batteries are inserted correctly. Did you create your own pin number correctly? If not use the factory set pin number. If all above is working Check to make deadbolt is lining up with door jam. Next reassemble and make sure lock assembly is inserted correctly. Other than that just send back for new lock.

Answer:	There is a usb port on the lock
Question:	What happens if the locking mechanism stops working? Can you remove it and manually unlock the bolt from the door like an analog tumbler

Answer:	I purchased 1 online and one from the Xfinity store and was able to pair them both to my Xfinity Home hub without issues. I need 1 more but I'll get it from the Xfinity Store because it's a bit less expensive. I love these locks!
Question:	Can you use this to prevent children going outside at night
Answer:	The Kwikset 99130-002 SmartCode 913 does not have Alexa built in and since it is a Z-Wave protocol device, it will not work with any of the hub-enabled Echo devices. However, if you get a Z-Wave compatible hub, such as Samsung Smartthings hub, you can incorporate that into your network (pretty easy), then you can tell (or ask) Alexa to lock the door. I hope this helps.
Question:	can the autolock delay be set to 10 minutes
Answer:	That is probably best asked of Kwikset who can be reached at their website. My opinion is that if it can be subjected directly to moisture (rain, snow) and extreme temperatures that would be a problem since the keypad is on the outside. The main electronics are in the inside unit and would thereby be protected. I have one installed on my front door but it is protected by a storm door and roof over the front stoop. If practical the installation of a storm door would probably give it the necessary protection.
Question:	I purchased this lock but i can't enter the master. it keeps flashing red and beeping 3 times. could someone help? i went through all the steps over
Answer:	You should add window film to the inside of the window that will prevent thieves from being able to break the window.

Question:	I have a door outside with no overhang, can the code pad side take direct rain fall
Answer:	I had a Pom who had been injured and the Vet put him on steriods and he just wasn't able to always get outside "in time" so I purchased 3 of the larger size of these Wee Wee Pads...omg...how wonderful they are... totally "wet" proof...when they have been "used" you just throw them in the washer and dryer and they are good to go... NO the dogs don't destroy them like the paper wee wee pads... these are made of cloth and treated cloth (water proofing)...I have one right now in one of my new little Pommie's crate on top of his tempur pedic mattress so if he has an accident he doesn't wet the mattress... You will Love these...so many uses! IF your dog tears up towels and blankets then I would think he will tear up anything so these pads although not paper like the disposable pee pads they are not made of steel...lol Hope this helps... get one and see how it works for you and your pup! You can always order more if they work out!

Answer:	If you mean when your pet uses it... yes it is very easy to tell; however, the first and second time you wash it it may retain water so be careful taking it out of the washing machine... also, eventually the padding around the outer edges will pop out, just cut it off.. the pad is still perfect for use. I love mine
Question:	Does keypad have a light for night
Answer:	The part of the pad where the dog pees wicks away the pee similar to the way Always sanitary napkins are made. The border around the pad is raised to prevent the urine from running off of the pad. I have used these for over a year and they are worth the money. They hold up well to machine washing. I have not had a problem with the cording around the edge coming out. I have an HE washer and wash them on the Bulky Item setting. I have hung them to dry and also dried them in the dryer. Follow the care instructions. They wear like iron. Best product since the invention of the microwave! Much more cost effective than having to purchase the throw-away kind.

Answer:	For me, specifically relating to the 17' model (12017) I have used wide boards on the very top rungs. Using a tape measure from the concrete floor in my shop to the top of the board going across, I have a height of 46-48 inches. Answer:	The Revolution is basically a newer version of the Classic with several updated features compared to the classic Little Giant Classic M26 (10126LG). The Revolution has quad-locking hinges, Rock Locks to lock the rungs (Rock-Locks are easier to use then the U-locks). The Revolution also has slightly deeper inner rungs for added standing comfort and is about 5 pounds lighter. They both reach the same height in their various configurations.

Answer:	The max height of this Little Giant 17 as a step ladder is 7-8 feet. It is 17 feet when fully extended as an extension ladder. The other thing to bear in mind is it is a heavy ladder. The wheels do help when working on flat surfaces (indoor or out) as you can wheel it around. However, these will not help you much on rough ground or when you need to lift it (e.g. up/down stairs, loading it into car, storing it etc). It's a unisex product, so no one will laugh at you !

Answer:	I have two of these and one of the touchpad deadbolts on different doors. The two like this have been installed about 2 years and the touchpad has been installed about three. One of them (this model) is installed on a shed directly in the elements while the other two have eves above them (very small overhangs). I am currently replacing the one that is directly in the elements while the other two are still functioning perfectly. The overhangs are small but it is the difference between getting soaked EVERY single time it rains and rarely ever getting directly rained on. So I would say, no, rain doesn’t “fry” this product but, yes, DIRECT exposure to the elements will likely shorten the lifespan of the lock. On the other hand, it doesn’t take much to reduce this problem (like a 12” overhang 8-10’ above the door). Also, the “shortened” lifespan of mine was still about two years. It was better than I expected knowing it was completely unsheltered.
Question:	Is the keypad visible in the dark -- from a source other than reflected light
Answer:	No, The Keyboard is not visible in the dark. You must touch a key on the pad before the keyboard lights. We press any key an then press the enter key before we enter a code.
Question:	Do the numbers wear on the commonly used keys (for your PIN entry?) That is, after repeated use, can a person tell which keys are pressed most often
Answer:	...even if one could identify the 4 most commonly used keys, there would still be 256 potential combinations since numbers can be repeated. I have had one of these for six years, and while the numbers have not worn, the buttons which are pushed most frequently are a bit dirtier than the numbers that never get pushed. They are not dirty but there is slight discoloration. However, since my wife and family each have separate codes, 8 out of the 10 buttons get used at some point. All that said, the keys are still clean and the oft used button are only barely discolored.

Answer:	Haven’t had to change batteries yet, installed couple months ago. On our previous house we changed the batteries around 8 month’s, it beeped after locking when batteries were low

Answer:	Of course yes, the auto-lock feature automatically re-locks your doors, by default, in 30s after unlocking. But if you wanna disable the auto-lock function, you can change it in just simple 4 steps. Before operation, you need to make sure the lock is unlocked and the door is opened, then (1) enter your existing programming code; (2) Press TACKLIFE button, you will hear one beep; (3) Press 5; (4) Press TACKLIFE button again. You will hear two beeps if the change successed, otherwise, three beeps will indicate the chage in unsuccessful.
