Answer:	So sorry for the long delay. Believe it or not, the distance between the internal embossed lines is 3.25 inches. The distance from the outer edges is 5 inches. For what it's worth I picked up a 6 inch number, drilled 2 holes and used short screws and it looks great and doesn't cut the mailpersons hands. The large box handles the bigger number well.

Answer:	We have a total of 1,500 unique keys out there for just our mailboxes. 1,000 unique keys are still in production. So the odds of somebody having your key are at least 1/1000. Additionally these are 12 disc wafer locks...good luck picking them...way too much time involved.

Answer:	If you choose to use your mailbox for outgoing mail there is a spring steel clip inside the top door to hold the mail for the mail person. Pulling up the mail flag indicates to the mail person that you have outgoing mail. But please keep in mind that this flag also indicates to mail thieves you have outgoing mail as well. We recommend not doing this and dropping your outgoing mail in a USPS blue box because there is no way to have secure outgoing mail in an individual locking box that also accepts incoming mail.

Answer:	It comes with a drill bit and 1.5" lag bolts to mount the box to wood. It does not come with a post but if you order a Mail Boss post, the post comes with the hardware to mount the Mail Boss mailbox to the post.

Answer:	Typically, the old washers and nut can be used. The original clock movement I had didn't use washers and nut because it snaps in place and didn't require them.

Question:	My clock has no outer cover. Is this mechanism okay as an outdoor pool clock
Answer:	I carefully measured my original clock and compared my results with the sale item, as shown clearly on the item's info. The measurements were pretty much exactly the same. I ordered this replacement clock guts, and it fit my crystal holder perfectly. Most important is the shaft length as shown: 5/16". The only difference I had is that the hands of the new clock were too long for my little clock, so I just used the original hands, which slipped perfectly over the new shaft. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Not totally sure but what I remember when putting them in would be a light gage aluminum.

Answer:	The hands with movement I received measure the following from the spindle to the tip that indicates the minute/hour: minute hand -- 5 7/8"; hour hand -- 4 5/8".
Question:	what are the exact dimensions of the case itself
Answer:	2” by 2”
Question:	My clock face is 5" and is made of 1/4" thick wood. Will this work for my clock
Answer:	I've bought a lot of these over the years. The only real solution I can offer is always buy new hands that are made for the movement. I've tried retrofitting some of my existing hands usually with little luck.
