Answer:	Not sure but it is a heavy metal pull knob. They look and feel great. Matte black finish. im sure it will take some tie to see if the finish holds up. I' sure it will last for some time.

Answer:	I'm not exactly sure.. and you don't cut the screws. They're break-away, so all you need is a couple pairs of pliers or some vice grips. You just put the grips on each side of the portion you're trying to break, and then wiggle up and down until it snaps. Super easy. Don't mess with buying other screws; these ones are great. You just gotta wiggle them till they snap at the right spot. The spots where there are no threads. Good luck, they're not the easiest to break but with grips you'll get it.

Answer:	No. There is a tiny spike, or barb, on the back of each knob. When you tighten the screw during installation, it pulls the spike into the cabinet to keep it from spinning. You have to install these by holding the knob in place and turning the screw with a screwdriver.
