Answer:	Hello! No, they are pretty thick hooks. We have 2 of the plush oversized bath towels hanging and they have not ever bothered to fall off. I think the trick is to hang the towels from the middle so you have some pretty good weight on each side. I even grab an end of my hanging bath towel to blot my hair after I’ve hung it up, and it still doesn’t come off the hook. We are very pleased with this product. The only thing I would say that surprised me when we got it, was it is a bit smaller (left to right) then I would have thought. Would have liked the hooks spaced out a bit more since we have such big towels. But the hanger is very sturdy, and if you use some good drywall anchors, it will stay for years to come! Answer:	I just bought some 3M double-sided adhesive tape, and it works fine.
