Answer:	I am 5' 5" and I placed the towel bar (where the towels hang down) at eye level. If you can have another person hold it against the wall while you step back and adjust the height level that may help you decide. Once you find the spot, move it up just a bit (1/4 to 1/2") and mark the bottom of the bracket. You have to slide the whole holder over the inside wall mount. If you don't adjust for this then your mount would be slightly lower but not by a whole lot. Only if you desire perfection, it would it even bother you.

Answer:	The rod itself is 24" long. However, once you slide it into each end that supports the rod, it will measure about 23 1/4". They are never exactly 24" when mounted.

Answer:	I took a risk and ordered the “brown” color option for the 30-inch bar and received a 30-inch brushed nickel bar (which is what I wanted and what the picture showed). I can only assume someone (a non-English speaker) got “brushed” and “brown” confused since they both start with “br.”
