Answer:	I just bought some 3M double-sided adhesive tape, and it works fine.
Question:	What is the reason it is 'not suitable for painted wall
Answer:	It has an adhesive to attach to the wall. I assume the paint will come off or not stick to the paint. I used this on a painted wall in my elderly mothers bathroom. Still hanging 5 months later.
Question:	Are there screw holes to mount it in case the adhesive doesn’t hold
Answer:	No, but this adhesive is great. We have this towel rack in two bathrooms and it is solid. I highly recommend it.
