Question:	How much weight can they handle
Answer:	The package says 5 pounds but don't believe it. I bought one to hang up sweatshirt but it just kept falling down. With Command hooks, your best bet is to read the packaging and find the one that says it will handle the weight you want it to, and then go up a size. For a jacket, use the industrial one that says it can hold ladders.

Question:	How wide is the hook opening
Answer:	The entire width, from back of hook to front of hook is 1 3/8 inch.....but the opening is only 13/16 inch. I needed them for a 1 inch dowel and thought it would fit per the measurements listed but it doesn’t. Just FYI.

Answer:	To be honest, no. This item can only hold a limited amount of weight and an aluminum coffee cup might be too heavy. I don't recommend buying these. Try Command Wire Hooks Value Pack, Medium, White, 7-Hooks (17068-7ES). The hooks themselves are small as well.

Answer:	I have no idea. All Command hooks are rated for weight-per-hook, on the package. You'll have to do the multiplication to find out, relating the wall weight to the hook capacity. If you're putting up an entire wall of some kind, no matter how thin, it would be wiser to use heavy-duty hooks (check the hardware section) that screw at least 1 1/2 inches directly into wood, and screw them into a series of wall joists. Or screw the design wall frame directly into the wall joists at least every 2 feet vertically, and into every wall joist horizontally. Holes are easy to fill in when you take it down, and the thing won't fall down down wreck your living room and/or you.
Question:	Can you use this to suspend items form the ceiling? It looks like the wire part *might* rotate enough but I can't be sure
Answer:	Yes. I used these for doing just that. I wanted to cover a horrible ceiling light and I essentially suspended a "shade" type thing from the ceiling to surround it.

Answer:	The Large metal one would be perfect! I use these for towels on the back of the bathroom door too. Holds up well with thick wet towels so it shouldn't have any problem holding a wreath. And they are nice looking

Answer:	Yes. I got some blackout curtains (2 panels 54x84 that weigh 4lbs total) and a small Cafe curtain Rod (7/16) and my curtains are able to open & close and they stay up. I originally got a curtain rod the was 7/8 Thick and it was too big to sit in the hook. Any curtain rod that is thinner than that will fit better. The finials on my cafe rod are small too. I did follow the command instructions ( press for 10 seconds, remove the hook, press for 30 seconds, put the hook back, let stand for 1 hour, then I put my curtains & rod on). Works like a charm.

Answer:	The hooks will work in the shower. However, I'm using a couple on a tile wall that doesn't always get wet. I'm not sure how resilient they will be on a wall that's constantly wet. In fact I've had better luck with them holding on the tile surface than the textured walls in my apt. I assume because of the smooth texture. Good luck!

Question:	Do they work on concrete walls
Answer:	We have it on a concrete wall and it does stick. If you are hanging something lighter than a kitchen stool (as pictured on packaging) it should work fine.However, the hook is not strong enough to hold the kitchen stool pictured on the packaging, the actual hook breaks after a couple of months.

Answer:	Command sells a hook/strip that is rated for wet areas--it's a different kind of strip than what you'd use on a wall. Amazon sells it and so do some of the big box stores; however it is very hard to find in the stores so you may be better off getting it directly from Amazon. It's not rated for as much weight as this jumbo hoook, but we've had no problems using it to hang up the rubber tub mat to dry. We even bought extra strips and are using four of them to hang up another item in the shower/tub. That item had more surface area so more room for the four strips...
Question:	The details say that the dimensions are 2 x 3.8 x 7.8. What do those dimensions refer to
Answer:	hi jerry, my hook is 4 inches long, 2 ish inches wide and 1/4 ish inch thick. this doesn't include the hook which extends out about 1 inch.
Question:	what is the most weight these will hold
Answer:	Strangely the packaging reads "Holds 3 kg 7.5 lb" but 3 kilograms equals roughly 6.6 pounds. But I find both of those weights to be conservative. We moved into our current house in 2006, shortly thereafter I put four of these up in the garage and have hung multiple things on each, some more than ten pounds most closer to eight pounds--we've never had one fail yet. Be sure to follow the directions and clean the surface and the hook with rubbing alcohol before attaching, apply pressure for at least 30 seconds and wait at least one hour before using. People that don't follow the directions are very likely to experience very premature product failure.

In the description box below, you will see the dimensions on a line that says: Apprx. "Out of Pkg Product Size (LxWxD)".Keep in mind that the important dimension for many projects is the height that extends ABOVE the lowest part of the hook-well. I don't see this described at the 3M site, but it is important for things that must be hung from very close to the top edge.

Answer:	Not sure exactly which hooks you mean, as I can only find them listed by type and s/m/l sizing. I own several styles and sizes of these hooks. Depending on the size of the holes of said calendar, the smaller diameter hooks may fit. If they don't, this can be easily remedied with a dollar store hole-punch. If you do use a hole-punch, many of the Command hooks will fit through. I've got one calendar here that has holes designed to accommodate a push pin or thumb tack. Alternatively, a short length of string will fit through smaller holes, and hang from any hook strong enough to hold the weight.

Answer:	The anchor holes spacing is 12.75", so they do not line up with standard 16" wall studs. However, this doesn't matter as long as you screw the CENTER screw tightly into a stud so the unit is tight against the wall (won't rotate). This provides 95% of the necessary strength. Then add the outer two screws. You can use anchors into the drywall for the outer screws if you want, but I found it wasn't necessary. This is working well for our application.

Answer:	No! The adhesive is one time use. The hooks can be replaced or interchangeable with other command strips but the command strips themselves or not salvageable. I had a couple break and had to toss them I tried this theory it did not work

Answer:	They hold a trench coat and 2 xl hoodies and i believe they could hold more weight if the hook was bigger. I hope that helps. (On textured sheetrock)

Answer:	I'm not exactly how much weight these hold, but I can tell you that I hang my heavy leather handbags on them and they have been holding up for months! The trick is to make sure the surface is clean. I hung my hooks on the side of a chest of drawers.

Question:	will these work on the ceiling
Answer:	I have used the larger ones on the outside of my camper and they held up for me. I only used them to hold average power cords draped along outside and dish towels, nothing heavy duty. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying and let them set as per directions before using them. As another user stated, these particular ones are very tiny so make sure to get ones for the job you need them for. Good luck.
Question:	will these hold up outdoors or are they for indoor only
Answer:	this is very small - barely holds the light cable, i tried to secure by pushing cable in and one of them broke. it will not hold cat5 cable. i used to hold Christmas wrapping ribbons - created a loop at each corner. I recommend the larger hooks for holding Christmas lights etc. as far as cat5 cables, i would look for completely different options.
Question:	What thickness of cable can it hold? Or how many Cat5 cables can run through it
Answer:	II used them to hang my LED lights outside for Christmas around windows and awnings. Worked great as long as string or rope isn't too thick. You must follow directions exactly for them to work. Yes, they work ! I live in Michigan, so yes they held up in the cold and snow. It takes time to put them up as you have to hold each one in place for 30 sec and not put anything on them for 1 hr, so start ahead of time. I love them ! They are still there, end of Jan., -25 degrees and 2 ft of snow.

Answer:	Although not advertised for outdoor use, my answer would be Yes! Wash the area you intend to put these hooks and they should be fine. Be aware there is no removing these once they are attached. They stick like crazy!!!

Answer:	I use them for lighter weight things like Mobiles, small frames, cords. The adhesive does not seem to waver on hard flat surfaces. It says in the name up to 22 pounds.

Answer:	it's heavy duty adhesive I would not use on painted wall, on glass or metal would be ok. I found heat and a razor blade works best
