DIRECTIONS:

• Spray the surface with the product, buffing with a dry microfiber cloth in 3-foot sections

The Granite Water Test

The water test is the simplest way to check if your granite needs to be sealed. Pour a small amount of water, about the size of a quarter, on different sections of your granite. Let the water sit for about 30 minutes and see if the granite absorbed the water into the stone.

If the water was absorbed by the granite, you need to reseal your granite. You can tell it was absorbed if your granite darkened.

If the water stays on top of your granite like the image to the right, your granite is protected. We still recommend applying the Granite Sealer at least once a month as a preventative measure.

Answer:	If all that's on there is 511, I've never noticed any problem putting more on later.

Answer:	It depends on what you are sealing. For slate, flagstone and Saltillo about 250-300 sq. ft. per quart. For polished stone--granite, marble --likely 1000 sq. ft. per quart. For slate I use about 1 Qt. per 300 sq. ft. A bit more with Travertine. It does a great job. I recommend their cleaner prior to sealing. A Pint of the cleaner goes a long way. Hope this helps.

Answer:	This Kenmore is made by Whirlpool. I have a similar Whirlpool and these definitely should work. I recommend replacing them all at the same time so yes, I would buy the full kit. The refrigerator side is not bad, you just have to remember that on the freezer side, the water hose goes through this on the bottom hings so you'll have to disconnect the hose below the hinge (if I remember correctly) before you pull the door off.

Answer:	Thanks for your question Quicksand!Unlike Granite, Marble can be readily etched when it comes in contact with Acids. Tuff Duck is Neutral to Slightly Basic and will not etch Marble. The application instructions for Marble do not differ for Granite or Slate etc.. The difference will be the degree of porosity (or how porous) the stone is. A more porous stone will absorb more sealer than a non-porous stone. In general, marble is more porous than Granite. The directions for marble are as follows:1) Ensure a clean and dry surface, 2) Apply sealer liberally and allow to penetrate for 15 minutes (ensure the surface stays wet during this soaking period, more sealer may need to be applied during this time depending on the porosity of the stone) 3) After 15 minutes wipe up the residual sealer with a clean dry cloth.4) If any sealer was unintentionally allowed to dry on the surface leaving streaks, simply use Tuff Duck sealer on a cloth to re-wet/dissolve the streaks and dry with a cloth.The surface can come in contact with water after 6 hrs of cure time and will be fully cured in 24hrs.Thanks, I hope this helps.

Tuff Duck penetrates into the stone sealing the pores and the chemistry ensures a very high level of hydrophobicicity, or the ability to repel liquids ... You can see this by dripping water onto the sealed surface .. The water will bead on A surface sealed with Tuff Duck. Also Tuff Duck will not alter the natural look or Finish of the natural stone! -thanks for your question !

Answer:	Clean your grout lines FIRST, before applying a sealer of any kind. You never want to apply a sealer over dirty or discolored grout. They will remain that way! In my experience, I can recommend "Fresh Start 2000" as the best grout cleaner. Mix it with water. Use a spray bottle to apply. Scrub with a small stiff brush. Simple and easy to use and it will make your grout look new again. Full cure time for Aqua Mix Gold is 24 hours. Allow 30 minutes drying time between coats if applying more than 1 coat. Ready for surface traffic in 2 hours after final coat. Keep grout lines dry for 12 hours after final coat. Aqua Mix Gold penetrates grout. I recommend 2 coats for a long lasting protective seal. 1. Prepare Surface

Thoroughly clean surfaces and remove any coatings or residue. For tough build-up, Miracle Sealants Miracle Heavy Duty Cleaner Acid Substitute is recommended.

2. Apply Sealer to Dry Surface

In a well ventilated area, use either a Miracle Sealant's applicator or a clean, lint-free cloth to apply enough sealer to wet the surface. Allow to stand for 3-5 minutes for full penetration.

You do not need to make any modifications to the hole, although you might need to adjust the strike plate slightly, depending on the size of the existing one. I bought three of these locks, and I had to adjust the strike plate recess slightly on one door frame, but had no problem with the other two door frames.

Answer:	I seal my counters once a year as recommended by the installer.
Question:	Will it reseal and polish an area that has been denatured
Answer:	Good morning Emma, MP90 solvent based is a sealer for polished surfaces, but it is not a restorer of the polish. An alternative could be a sealing with MP90 Eco Xtreme + a glossy wax like the water based CLASSIC, that can give a shiny effect to the material. Kind Regards, FILA Technical Department
