| Answer: | I installed the shelf hooks and measured center to center on the screw holes. Measured in Lowes and only Rubbermaid metal shelf rails had the correct spacing. Of course pricier than the generic. Bolt them to the hooks that came with the shed, put double hook shelf supports on the rails and lay some wood shelves on them. I suggest long screws up thru the supports into the underside of the shelves so something heavy toward the front doesn't flip them down on your feet. |

| Answer: | Yes, I would recommend having a minimum clearance of your longest tool/rake/etc plus about 10 inches when taking the item out of the rack. I would not recommend it storing large/long tools in an area with a low to normal 7-8ft ceiling (run the risk of hitting the ceiling occasionally). I personally have mine in the basement with a 10ft clearance. It would also work well in some of the pre-fab tool sheds that have a high ceiling. Hope this helps. |

Maybe keep on the edge of the garage and roll it out? You could ALWAYS replace the casters no problem if they crap out-cheaper than the holder and your tools! |

| Answer: | All of the FastTrack stuff hooks on a black rail -- essentially a plastic sheath covering a long piece of steel. If you install THAT well, it should hold a wheelbarrow.Conveniently, the steel track has holes so you can screw it right into the wall studs. This assumes, of course, that the holes happen to line up just right, which they almost certainly won't; don't be afraid to drill your own holes to get the screw right in the middle of the stud. You'll also need some anchors: the ones that Rubbermaid sells are worthless, so I bought some molly bolts from Home Depot instead.Anyway, I'm probably making this sound a lot harder than it is; I promise you can do this even if you don't happen to host your own home improvement show on TV. I'm a big fan of FastTrack. Once you get the rails installed, arranging and rearranging the hooks is painless. As for weight, I've got a 28' collapsible ladder on mine, another fiberglass ladder hanging right next to it, along with assorted tools... so far, so good : ) |
