Question:	Do the bikes sway from side to side
Answer:	Hello, it seems that it could due to the areas where there are open sections or holes for adjusting the stand which could allow water to seep inside and rust. It does have a good, thick coating on the outside, but again, it has some areas where water could access. You may be able to maybe use electrical tape to cover those areas once the stand is adjusted for you, just a suggestion. Hope that helps

Question:	The mtb's stated range is 43-62mm, has anyone tried it with 700x45c tires? if so, did it feel loose, since it's at the lower end of the range
Answer:	I can't address this directly since I;ve got 700x35 tires -- but I got the "hybrid" CLUG which is rated for 33-42mm tires so I'm also at the lower end of the range. There's a no wobble, as the thing expands to accept the tire and then closes around it. But there's a bit of slop in how the rest of the bike sits on the ground. I've had it for more than six months now and have never had a problem mounting the bike.
Question:	Does it need to screw into the wall studs to hold the bike vs. the dry wall
Answer:	The instructions say not to use it in drywall... only wooden stud, brick, or concrete. There's not much force on it when the bike is hanging there, but if you have thick tires, it seems like it puts a lot of force on the screws when pulling the bike out of the clip.
Question:	What size drill bit is required for the pilot hole? and size of the anchor
Answer:	I do not recall which size drill bit I used be cause I simply used a bit smaller in diameter than the screw. This method was sufficient for me to screw it into a wall. The main concern is what kind of wall or surface you plan to screw into.
Question:	will the friction of install/removal eventually wear on the sidewall of tires? (at least points of install are random
Answer:	I've had it for a year, haven't noticed any wear on my tires. I would hope you wear your tires out from riding before the sidewalls from the friction of pulling the bike in and out of the clug.

Step 1: Do you have the right Clug?

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to check that the Clug you got is the right size for your tire.

As a handy guide, we also put the maximum and minimum sizes for each Clug right on the side of the box. Just hold it up to your tire and check to see that it is within the range.

Note: Clug is a tiny bike rack that works with your floor to store your bike. Clug can't Hang your bike, it doesn't work that way and you might hurt your back trying. We wouldn't want that.

Step 2: Location and Alignment

Time to figure out where your Clug is going. Once you’ve found your section of the wall, you can use the alignment guide on the box to get your hole spacing marked precisely.

Holding your bike in the position you want it (you can get a friend to help here), you’ll want to align the position of your Clug with the centre of your wheel, where the tire touches the wall.

Step 3: Drills, Holes, and Anchors

You’ll need to drill some holes if you are putting Clug on anything other than wood surface (or a stud in the wall). To drill, just stick your template lightly to the wall and drill right through the guide.

If you drilled holes, insert the anchors from your box into the holes to give you something to screw into.

Step 4: Screws, Clip, and Grip

Separate the Clipper from the Gripper and screw the Clipper into the wall.

You’ll be able to make small adjustments before you tighten the screws fully, to make sure that your Clug is level.

Snap the Gripper in to cover the screw heads, and you’re ready to Clug!

Answer:	I don't know what rack you're referring to. The bike sits with the back tire in a metal, "C" shaped, horizontal track, and the front of the bike is raised until it (the Bike) is vertical. The bike stays vertical with the help of an adjustable metal bar that supports the seat stem and a strap that keeps the front tire from moving. I do not have a basket. But, if I did, it would be no problem as long as it is on the front of the bike. A back basket would not work. I like the rack and the additional floor space it provides.

Answer:	Both tray and vertical slots keep them upright. All my bikes (26 and 28 inch tire diameter, road and mountain style tires) will stand upright on their own in the rack. I do alternate front and back to accommodate the handlebars.
Question:	Will it work with 4” wide fat tire bikes
Answer:	Possibly - but will be tight. The space for the tires are exactly 4" wide. The spacing between bikes is about 6", so the bikes will be very close together. We have 4 x 2" tire bikes and we have to alternate them front to back to fit in the rack.

Answer:	Not far. The top bar has a flat hunk of plastic (an inch or so thick) that must make direct contact with the wall. The legs curve forward a bit, and they probably sit about a foot from the wall, I reckon.

Question:	How easy is it to pull the rope / lift an average bike? Would a typical 12 year old be able to lift his mountain bike? What about a 9 year old boy
Answer:	the smallest diameter of a handle that this can hold is 0.85in, if your handle is smaller than this size, it dosen't matter, because the handle hook or cap or handle cover can prevent the handle from sliding right out from the bottom.

Question:	Has anyone come up with a good solution for locking your bike while in the rack
Answer:	Where are you hanging this rack? Can you run a long cable through the two wire pieces and wind it through the wheel and frame?

Question:	adult & 3 kids. will work well? How would you arrange them? Do you have to straighten them all out before you can get the one buried out
Answer:	Yes, they work well. I staggered heights and spaced them 18" apart. Yes, you have to swing them over to get to one in the middle. Hope this helps!
Question:	What is the widest tire anyone has put on these racks? I have a 29 x 2.4 - thinking it may not fit well
Answer:	It should fit. The back brace, which your tire slips through, is 2 3/8". You might have to push a little... but it should be able to get through it. The holding brace (the one that folds out) is wider so that won't be a problem. The 29" will easily stay in the holding brace. This is absolutely the best way to store your bikes. Easy to set up and easy to slip bike into holder. You just have to have the upper body strength to lift up the front tire. I have two and will never go back to anything else.
