Answer:	You want to mount most lights to a round box, not one of these rectangular ones which are usually used for switches or outlets.

Answer:	Yes, this 2 gang box will work with a 14-50 receptacle. The yoke on the receptacle will mount to the screw holes on this box. With # 6 wires you want all the room you can get.

Answer:	There are split piece cover plates where a 2 gang can be assembled from two single gang halves. Those split plates are not the full width of a single plate designed for a single gang outlet. I think the split plate will work even though I haven't tried it (spacing for the outlets should be the same). If you're thinking of using 2 full sized single gang plates there's no way that will work on any 2 gang box; you need the split plates.
Question:	When it is plugged in, does it block the other remaining plug? This seems to be the most common problem with most adaptors

Question:	Are there any led lights on this
Answer:	correct the box has a few 1/8 inch circles that can be punched or drilled out. then just screw onto your post.
Question:	Can mobile phones, computers and desk lamps share this socket
Answer:	Looking at the 1 gang device box from the back side the input clamps are labeled. From the back the top right clamp is labeled #12 and the bottom right clamp is labeled #12. The two clamps on the left side are both labeled #14 and they are both offset towards the middle of the box. If I rotate the box so that the labels are right side up when viewed from the rear and then spin the box so the view is to the front, then the box in your picture is upside down and you can't see the two #14 clamps and how they are located in the box. The two #14 clamps are 1 inch apart and the two #12 clamps are 2 3/4 inches apart. I have used the 1 gang smart boxes for old work and if the stud is on the left you have to locate the box upside down. I don't know 1) if you can get two #12 wires through 1 clamp and 2) if the clamps are rated for two #12 cables. I suggest going to the Madison web site and checking their specs.

Answer:	I would get an extra deep single gang box or even go to a 2 gang box.

Answer:	If the box is already installed you should put in a mud ring before you install the back splash. If the backs plash is already installed they make a spacer to bring out the outlets. another trick i use is buy a 60 cent standard blue box and use a multitool of chop-saw to carefully cut off the front of the box to the desired depth, if you need 1/4" or 3/8" you can usually get two or three spacers out of each box, this works with double gang boxes too.

Question:	Do they also come in horizontal form
Answer:	We are actually in the process of creating and adding a horizontal version to our lineup sometime in 2019. If it helps for now, they can be installed sideways—the light will just illuminate to the side rather than towards the ground. We have many customers who install them this way and absolutely love them.
Question:	Do they ever turn off or are they always on
Answer:	They are light sensitive. On at dark and turn off in day automatically. If you have a truly dark place they will just stay on.
Question:	Not UL approved
Answer:	Per seller "All of our products are certified by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (ETL) under Underwriters Laboratory standards UL 1786 (night light), UL 514D (outlet), and UL 1310 (class 2 power source)."
Question:	Why is there no photo showing the back of the plate and how it contacts the outlet terminals
Answer:	It has a clip and you just attach it the same way a normal plate goes on with the 1 screw. The clip will automatically make contact. Works perfect.
