Answer: | Lowest range on the BM4070 is 200 microhenries, with a resolution of 0.1 uH. However, accuracy degrades substantially at small inductance values. For example, my instrument reads 0.9 uH with zero test inductance (test lead length is 2 x 8 inches). With a 26 inch pair of test leads, this error increases to 2.3 uH. Thus, it's important to determine and subtract out the stray inductance of your test setup before trying to measure anything as small as 2 uH. Also, I have no precisely known inductances at values this small, so cannot say what the instrument calibration accuracy is in this range. If accuracy/precision are important, I'm afraid you're going to have to obtain a (much more expensive) lab-grade instrument, such as an inductance bridge, capable of measuring down to this level. |

Tips for not accurate measurement:
To measure small capacitance, different measurement principles and different measurement frequencies will lead to different measurement results.
The resistance component affects the accuracy, and the measurement results need to be subtracted from the data displayed before the measurement.
When measuring small inductors and capacitors, if the component feet are suitable, it is recommended not to use the test leads. Please just insert component feet directly into two rectangular jacks of LCR Meter to measure.

Answer: | LCR-Reader MPA is the only tweezer-meter that does ESR measurements the way it should be done: Capacitance is measured at 120 Hz and the ESR at 100 kHz. The frequency is not shown on the screen, but two additional numbers are displayed indicating the capacitor parameters described below. |

Answer: | Less than 1000 pf, the accuracy is not that great. I was able to measure 100 pf with ± 10% accuracy, which is acceptable in most of the applications. |

Answer: | I cannot attest to the accuracy of this DMM with measuring inductances however, I just measured a brand new 1000 uH inductor and on the lowest setting of the DMM it measured 1.108 mH. I would not trust it to measure anything below a couple hundred uH however, it has worked excellently for my uses in measuring components. Can't argue with the price either! |

Answer: | Yes it does read true RMS. I verified this with my modified sine wave, AC inverter/charger that backs up my basement sump pump. It reported 123 Vac which was about right while an average reading meter reported around 96 Vac. This makes sense since an average reading meter will measure 108V for a 120Vrms true sine wave. so it is calibrated 11.1% higher to report 120V. For a 120Vrms modified sine wave, the average reading AC meter will read 85V and report 95V. |

Answer: | The DM4070 LCR meter is not for induction loop testing. Induction loop equipment is used to transmit signals to receivers by induction. The DM4070 LCR meter is for measuring the inductance of wire coils, chokes, or transformers. The meter could be used to measure the inductance of the transmitter coil but it is not designed to transmit any signal to be measured by a receiving device.As a side note, I have found the meter to be quite accurate in Inductance and Capacitance measurement. It does exhibit erratic readings if the battery is weak. I have calculated the permeability of transformer cores with the inductance measurements and have been very pleased with the results. |

Answer: | No sir. You will need some kind of tester for measuring KWh, or at least an ammeter. We do not offer these. I would suggest speaking with an electrician. |
