Answer:	No. You have to use a AC line splitter tool found here on amazon. The line splitter plugs into the wall and then the lamp plugs into the line splitter. Then you can use your clamp meter to measure amps. this separates the neutral and the hot wire so you can meassure the amperage.

Answer:	Sounds like what you need is a Kill-A-Watt meter (brand name). You plug the meter in the wall then plug the appliance in the meter. Real simple. Gives amps, watts, volts, etc.

Answer:	The clamp (non-contact) can only measure current (amperage), not voltage. To measure voltage, you'd need to use the probes on a physical connection (terminal or bare wire).
Question:	I am working on a light fixture - if I want to test the actual wires (and not outlet) to see if they're live, what setting would I need to do this on
Answer:	Nobody else said it, but if you use the clamp meter, it must be around a SINGLE wire, it will not work if you clamp around both wires of the cable. You must separate the wires, and clamp only one wire. And the clamp is only gonna measure current, so if the lamp isn't working, this probably won't work. If the plag is plugged-in though, there will be a voltage present, so a non contact voltage tester should be sufficient enough to tell you it's live. Please be careful.

Answer:	No, in fact, the instructions is not very accurate and a little misleading. In fact, the instrument don't need recalibration when the temperature is between normal temperature such as 50℉~86℉, because the instrument is equipped with automatic temperature compensation fuction, but if the temperature is too cold or too hot, recalibration is recommended. And the calibration temperature of 68 degrees F is just needed for our first calibration in our lab, but not needed for the later calibration.
Question:	Warranty please
Answer:	Try taking a few drops of water and a few drops of antifreeze, mixing together, and placing on the tester. You should see something similar to the image with the advertisement. If you use 100% water or 100% antifreeze you will have no delineation line to tell you what the percentage is. The screen will be all white or all blue.

Answer:	Not recommend use it at high temperature, actually while calibrating or using the refractometer, keep ambient temperature at 50℉-77℉ is the best. Neither ambient temperature too high nor too low is not good for getting the most accurate results.

Answer:	My Pledge, Murphy's Oil Soap, Goo Gone, and Bar Keeper's Friend do not have ingredients listed either. I guess if we knew, we'd just buy the ingredient. The best cleaner for dirty old finishes I have found I learned from a man cleaning old wood pieces while he sat at a flea market. His work was gorgeous, so I asked. Short of stripping and refinishing - and I've done plenty - his method gives the best results I've seen. Here's the recipe: -One part mineral oil.-Four parts elbow grease.-Applied with 0000 steel wool.
Question:	please is it possible to get only the temperature probe
Answer:	I used this on my cherry kitchen cabinets and molding which are in sad shape. The cabinets and molding are original to the house we bought and are 60+ yrs old. The finish is wearing/worn off around the handles and the cabinets have finger prints and gunk galore. I didn't have any luck with other products...regular polish was ok, but didn't help the handle areas and after polishing, just touching the doors left smears and streaks; damp cloths left white marks; and other products meant to cover the worn areas did nothing but leave dye on my fingers. I never saw the infomercial, but I never believe those anyway. Generally speaking, the 'dirt' used appears to be dusting powder and 'white marks' look like they were painted on. I picked this up on sale at my grocery store, figuring I could return it if it sucked. I didn't know what to expect and had fairly low expectations at that. I was pleasantly surprised. My cabinets looked beautiful! There was a ton of 'stuff' (I hate to even speculate...yogurt, milk, ketchup, ??) splashed onto and stuck to the cabinets from my girls that finally came off without having to use something like a scratchy sponge or lots of water, both which damage the wood. My finger prints didn't show up after polishing and there were no streaks. It ABSOLUTELY takes some elbow grease to work. It certainly isn't wipe and go, but it took the splashes off and made the cabinets look more like they did when we moved in 11 years ago! I sprayed the first few cabinets, but had enough left on my cloth that I didn't have to keep spraying it, unless there was a particularly dirty area. It's not a miracle polish and I don't know why it didn't work for some. I think sometimes infomercials prejudice us in the way we use these products. When it isn't as easy as it looks on tv, we are disappointed. It doesn't make my kitchen look brand new, but it definitely made a noticeable difference for me!

Answer:	It states on the can that it is Silicone Free with a unique blend of natural oils. Nowhere does it state that it is water based. It meets the none silicone requirement but doubt the water based one..

GTC 1 mA to 100 Amps AC/DC low current clamp meter is designed to accurately measure current, current leaks (parasitic draws down to 1mA) and electrical loads from 1mA to 100 amp AC/DC and voltages from 0 to 600 AC/DC. Answer:	Yes I've used it on polyurethane. This is the best polish I've ever used. Great for wood but I've also used it on a leather chair & on hardwood floors ( diluted) & even metal. Really good product.

Answer:	I'm not sure it is accurate enough to use with ice cream, plus there is a little lip around the lens that would be difficult to keep clean enough to maintain acceptable sanitation levels. The final concern is the fact ice cream is opaque and the device requires a level of translucency to properly determine sugar levels, so I would have to say no, it won't work for ice cream in an industry setting, or at all really.
