Question:	Does it log only voltage or also current ac and dc
Answer:	Most of the functions I've used can all be logged. I'm pretty sure each option on the meter can be logged.
Question:	Is this meter accurate in the mOhm ranges? I need to use this for milli-ohm bonding checks in the 10 to 50m ohm range
Answer:	The range your referring to I believe is the 50ohm not 50mohm range. I use it for motor windings, relay coils and solenoids. Works great for readings from 1-50ohm and is very accurate in that range. If you are needing to measure a bond, connection joint or anything less than 1ohm you want something capable of making a kelvin 4-wire measurement. the fluke 8845 bench meter works great for bench applications. It all depends on your application? the 8845 is more for bench work. If your in the field working with ground grid connections, medium voltage transformers or breakers I would suggest looking at Fluke ground testers, AMEC or MEGGER micro-ohm meters that will put out some current and be more rugged. The fluke 289 is a great meter. I use the 50hm range allot as and I really like being able to record and trend.

Answer:	Suspect the answer is "No", but I'd try measuring the frequency of your PWM voltage with the multimeter and see what happens as you manually vary pulse width only. If you have access to an oscilloscope, you can see if the multimeter frequency seems consistent with the 'scope display of the fixed time interval between PWM pulses. If the Owon B35T multimeter frequency measuring circuitry simply triggers on repetitive increases in voltage and displays the result as frequency, you're good to go so far as fixed rate, variable width pulses are concerned. If your controller varies both pulse width and pulse rate, you're probably out of luck, other than some averaged (or other unknown characterization) "frequency". More detail if you want it: A "DC PWM" signal is either "On" or "Off" - its amplitude varies from zero to some fixed value in a very short time (pulse rise & fall times). The pulses of voltage and current vary in duration, hence the name "pulse width" modulation ("modulation" here meaning simply "change" or "variation"). If the pulses are being produced at a fixed rate, that rate could be considered a "frequency", and the usual conversion of frequency being the reciprocal of rate would apply. Frequently, though, PWM controllers vary both the duration of pulses (pulse width) AND the rate (frequency) at which the pulses are produced, particularly in automatic fixed or programmable RPM DC motor controllers. Thus you have a variable "frequency" signal with variable width pulses. In radio frequency terms, you have an FM signal with pulse width modulation, and there's no telling how your multimeter will deal with it. Good luck :)

Answer:	"I just spoke with "Jim" at Fluke. He said yes, the '170 series' (175/177/179) are made in the USA, as are the 87V and (IIRC) the 83V and 88V. As for "USA made parts" I'm not sure. The '110 series' are all made in China.I'm trying to figure out whether the 179/EDA2 sold here on Amazon includes the magnetic hanger. It's shown in one photo but not another, and it is shown as a "Frequently bought together" item, which indicates it is not included. ALL other authorized Fluke dealers do include it, for the same price. I plan to call Fluke about that and will ask about the origin of the parts."

Answer:	The 3000FC meter can connect and display up to 3 Fluke Connect module live display values on its own display. It can also share it's live display with a phone running the Fluke Connect application. The 279 can take and store thermal images, but can also upload the current active displayed thermal image to a phone. It cannot transfer stored images to a phone. You need to download them through USB to get the stored images.

Answer:	The Fluke 289 has a few extras, naming them: 1 Khz Low Pass Filter, Low impedance for voltage measurements and 50 ohms low resistance references. The low pass filter will be helpful in measuring sinusoidal waveforms compounded by higher frequency carriers, like the inverters outputs, resulting in a more accurate and stable AC measurement for the usable range. This might also be helpful when testing the low frequency output of high efficiency audio amplifiers below 700 Hz. The low impedance (LoZ) function will avoid induced voltages from proximity lines to be considered in voltage measurements, let's say you get some 60V AC from a building power line - unknown power circuit - and you are not sure if you have effective power from a phase return or just induced/parasite voltages, this is when the LoZ function will cancel the 60V contribution if it is due to ghost voltages. These functions are indeed less common and whether or not to pay for them depends on your application field, but might be helpful to have them if you ever find yourself in one of those scenarios.

Answer:	Don't buy it the meter keeps draining the 9V battery and after few days the battery is dead. There must be some sort of short circuit inside. I contacted the supplier for replacement after a month that I had it and he never responded. Save your money.

Answer:	As you can see, the product is a full function 6000 counts true RMS Multimeter with intelligent connections. Also, it is USB and Android Cellphone Compatible. You can share your testing result via the computer with the USB cable.Therefore, the data streaming function can not fulfill now.

Answer:	Somewhere there's a desktop application for windows, I am not sure if you can have multiple instances of that app accepting data on different COM ports, may be you can. But When I was trying to connect this multimeter to my Linux machine, I couldn't find any application for it, so I wrote one myself and you can have any number of instances of it running, each time changing what USB device your multimeter shows up on. Just a side note: I wrote it for my personal use few years back and its not very professionally built, but it serves the purpose. Answer:	On my iPad, the plus just adds the meter, but you have to use the 3rd button on the screen on the right both for reading data and for setting meter into logging mode. Hopes this helps.
Question:	What are the difference in features of the owon b35t and the owon ow18b? they appear to have nearly identical features with the ow18b having a 9v batt
Answer:	The OW18b has a display count of 5999 the b35t Display:21999. Thus the largest "number" the 18b can display is 5999 but the largest for the b35t is 21999 (put the decimal point where ever).
Question:	Where is the logging done? On the SD card or does the phone has to be connected to it all the times
Answer:	I haven't tried offline recording, but the manual on the owon web site may help. The way I interpret it is you need to configure/start the offline recording from an external device like a phone, but then it can save up to 10000 records internally. the caveat is every time you start recording, it writes at the beginning of the buffer. You need to offload the data before starting recording again or you'll lose it. they have other meters that do offline recording that may work differently.
