Answer:	I think the most definitive answer would be to ask customer service at the sales office; here is the number I found on the Gardner Bender website (800) 624-4320. If you are worried about animals, as a farm boy growing up just watch the animals when they approach the water. They can sense it far faster than us and will back away or not dive in readily. That will tell you something is amiss. Check all electrical connections to make sure they are properly grounded and use only GFCI protection for all outdoors; it will trip at 5 mA to prevent heart stopping current; I designed electrical equipment as a career. If GFCI protected circuits trip and keep tripping hire an electrician to check out the system. Don't take chances; electricity will kill.

Answer:	Yes and no. Mine could detect a wire behind a wall, it could find a live line under concrete, it could detect live feed through the air, it could even read the magnetic pull in my head. By far the most sensitive non-contact tester ever-not to be trusted. Worst tester ever, there are many testers I’d rather trust my life with that can detect through drywall and then tell which side of a wire is hot.

Answer:	Have you tried YouTube? Otherwise you probably just need a good electric fundamentals book. Most, if not all, electronics on a motorcycle are DC (direct current) and run off either 12 or 6Volts. Most fuses you can see if they are blown and most other components should not be drawing much more than 12volts. Does that help? If not I can do some digging for you?

Answer:	Mine is at my office and not here but those dimensions sound correct. It is a decent size and the big scale seems to me to be easy to read.

Answer:	My mulimeter is a GMT- 312 not a 318. The 312 uses one AA battery. I just opened it and checked - one AA battery. That is needed to measure continuity, ohms. It is a very small multimeter measuring 2-14 x, 3-1/2 x 1 inch.

Answer:	Made in China. Analog meters are still the best for finding intermittent shorts or breaks in cables. You attach the leads with alligator clips with the meter on ohms and start wiggling the cable. Either on each end of the wire to check for breaks or from each wire to ground to check for shorts. If the needle twitches you've found the problem. Digital meters don't respond fast enough for this kind of test. I have four digital multimeters but I always keep a good old analog meter as a secret weapon.

Answer:	plug the red lead into the meter socket marked COM and the black into the center meter socket. Set the dial to V~ (for AC volts) on the 200 scale (for household current) insert one probe lead into each of the wall socket's vertical slots and move them around a bit inside the outlet slots to make sure you're getting a good connection, if in doubt plug a lamp or something into the socket. If you suspect the outlet socket itself has failed carefully remove the wall plate in order to access the actual wires connected to the outlet to be sure it's either a dead circuit or the outlet itself has failed.

Answer:	it has been used on motorbikes for sure. It just needs to be in amp mode. If you're doing parasitic load, then you're focused on DC Amps. The 117 has up to 6, while the 88 has up to 10. I don't see a big issue as you're just doing parasitic, not actual use. If anything actually pulls more than 6, you'll blow the internal fuse and have to replace it, but that's about it. Shouldn't be a problem(I've just tested mine on my car and it works).
