1. Does it need a neutral line? How could I know whether there is a neutral line？

Yes, it needs a neutral line.

The best way is to check the actual wires in the switch box, the neutral line is often going to be colored white, but it also may be other colors.

If there are multi-gang switches, that has a much higher likelihood of having neutrals.

If there is a wall outlet near the switch, most likely that switch box has a neutral.

If your house was built in the mid-1980s or later, there is an excellent chance that you have neutral lines in the box.

2. What is the difference between the single-pole switch, dimmer switch, and the 3-way switch?

The single-pole switch is designed to turn on/off the light at only 1 place, but could not control the fan speed or light brightness.

The dimmer switch is designed to turn on/off the light at only 1 place, besides, it also could control the fan speed or light brightness.

The 3-way switch is designed to turn on/off the light at 2 places, but could not control the speed and brightness. The 3-way switch also could be used as the single-pole switch.

3.I have a dual wifi router, How could I use it?

The smart switch needs 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi only, not suitable for 5Ghz

If it broadcast only 1 signal, you will need to go to the Wi-Fi management and create a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi signal first, choose it and enter the password.

If it is broadcasting both signals, the 5G signal will be ignored. You’ll just choose the 2.4Ghz WIFI and enter the password of it.

Answer:	I installed one of these and LOVE it. You can simply walk up and tap it to turn lights on manually if you wish. It's like a big push button. Green light turns red when "on", green for off. Do I have neutral wires?

If there is an outlet (wall receptacle) near the switch, most likely that switch box has a neutral.

Checking the switch box

The best way is to check the actual wires in the switch box where you want to install Yeewell switch.

Please observe all safety precautions before handling the electrical wiring in your switch boxes.

Take off the trim plate over the switch.

Remove the screws from your switch and pull out the existing switch to look at the wires.

Steps to connect Siri

1. Open App, choose "smart", click Tap-to-Run., then click the symbol “+”;
2. Select your scenes and device,then select the command you need. After done you can see the command has appeared in the interface;
3. Click “Add to Siri”, then record your command. For example, you can say: “Close Light”;
4. Finally, you can control the switch via Siri. Say “Hi Siri, Open Light”, The light will be turned on.

Question:	Does it support any dimmable leds? i have bbounder leds from amazon which work fine with wemo but not dimming with this one

We also sell our own dimmable LED bulbs that work with these switches, you will just have to set the bulb type in the switch settings. Question:	Can one of these be use as a 2-switch system. I have one switch that act as 2 switch for thr living room and another one for the kitchen
Answer:	If your intent is to use these switches as a 3-way (2 switches controlling 1 set of lights) then yes, our switches can do that. However, both switches will need to be C by GE switches. Please contact our support staff for more information regarding the switches, thank you!
Question:	Can this switch connect to and control C by GE smart plugs? and/or third party smart plugs
Answer:	It will work with the C by GE Smart Plug by adding them to the same room within the C by GE app. It will not work with 3rd party products.
Question:	I have ge smart lights, if i buy this and turn the switch off will the light bulb still work properly
Answer:	This took me a while to figure out but as long as all the bulbs being powered of this switch are C by GE light bulbs and you tell the switch that through the C by GE app on your phone, then yes, they will remain always connected. However, if just one bulb off the switch isn't a C by GE smart bulb this setting won't work right.
