Question:	Will this work with a standard 3-wire connection (black, white, ground
Answer:	This will work as a single pole switch with 3 wires, or as a 3 way switch with 4 wires. Note-3 wire actually has 4 wires inside because you never count the ground. In a normal situation with a single pole and your "3 wire" the only wires that hook into the switch are ground, black-hot in and black-hot out. No white, those are tied together to complete the circuit. This switch requires a white wire-neutral to be hooked up as well. I believe this is what gives it power to keep accurate time and such.

Answer:	1. Set the Zone in the Clock screen 2. Return to Main screen and push the Sun/Moon pushbutton to check the times the Timer set as default (if incorrect it may be changed by pressing the up or down arrows) 3. Proceed to Prog 1 ON and when the Time is blinking press the Sun/Moon to select the default Dawn time 4. Proceed to Prog 1 OFF and when the Time is blinking press the sun/Moon to select the default Dusk time *In the Prog ON/OFF screen the Moon or Sun will appear on bottom left to confirm which has been chosen

Automatic Dusk to Dawn, Astronomical Timer

The astronomical feature automatically adjusts the timer for dusk to dawn times so your lights will turn on and off based on the astronomical clock. In the summer time when there is more daylight, the timer will turn the lights on later in the evenings and turn off earlier in the mornings. Conversely, the timer will turn the lights on earlier in the evenings and off later in the mornings during winter when daylight is shorter. Simply select your time and zone, and the TGT01-H will do the rest!

Answer:	Yes, you just push on the cover and it will come on and it doesn't mess up the time you have it set for, it will then turn off at the set time.
Question:	It appears this timer can be used as single pole or three way. if i set up as single pole i only use black, white and green wire. correct
Answer:	While it can be used for either single or 3 way, there isn't any white/neutral wire. Instead you have to choose between a green 120v ground or 277v green/yellow ground combined with a green frame ground to your ground wire. Just cap off the red wire for single pole operation. Also, cap off unused ground wire.
