The whole idea behind these controllers is to convert whatever source power into DC, then generate 3 phase at any frequency from that. For programming, all you need to do factory reset (PD013 set to 8), then PD002 set to 1 and PD070 set to 1. The commenters who said otherwise are uninformed.

Answer:	I have an Echo dot gen 3 and purchased these bulbs last month. Got them connected easily and they worked for 3 weeks and now Alexa cannot discover them. Answer:	Just got these for Prime Day deal. You need a hub to take full advantage of voice control (Alexa/Google). Otherwise, you need to set them up via Bluetooth for Alexa which means the Echo device needs to be within 30 feet of the lights. Even my Echo Dot 4 feet away from the lights, the operation of the bulbs is hit and miss. Worked bout 85% of the time. The rest of the time the Echo said it couldn't communicate with the lights. You can also use the Philips Hue (Bluetooth) app. For the price, I really was not impressed with the functionality of them. Also purchased some LOHAS Smart LED bulbs (got 3 bulbs for the price of these 2) and those work great. The LOHAS are both Bluetooth and Wifi, with no hub needed at all. Cant really recommend the Philips as I don't want to purchase a hub. Will most likely return these as the LOHAS bulbs work way better.

Answer:	I have one that came with my Echo Show 10, it paired with the Echo Show and the other Echos can control it no issue. But you have to have an Echo with Zigbee function - that means the older Echo Plus, or the new 4th gen Echo or an Echo Show 10. If not, you'll need to use Hue's hub and use the Hue skill to link to your Alexa network. Of the choices, I recommend the show, because it gives you visuals when installing. however most my smart devices are wifi using the Smart Life app and intergrate using that skill.

Question:	How to connect with Apple HomeKit
Answer:	I installed these switches 2 days ago. In order for this to work, the other switch (3 way) must have the two black wires twisted together and make a pig tail that goes into the bottom of the switch. That switch (if it has a red wire) is the wire that feeds to the "smart switch" to it's blue (TRA) wire. To make a long story short, the second switch is basically converted into a single pole switch. The main difference with this switch is that it's basically wired as a smart switch and that blue wire at the top gives it the ability to be turned on and off by the 3 way (second switch). To recap things, wire the smart switch as you normally would. Go to your 2nd switch, wire the 2 black wires together with a pigtail and that pig tail goes to the bottom of the switch. On the 2nd switch you will have a black wire (pigtail), red wire and ground. I hope this helps. Looking at the enlarged wiring diagram on this site helps. The wiring diagram on the instruction card is small and hard to see.
