Answer:	They are dimmable, but they run at 12 volts. If your transformer is a 12 volt unit designed for MR16 lights, then it will work.

Answer:	Yes,I bought the copper color and switch out all the 20-watt halogen with these brighter, energy efficient lights. I have also used them in paradise well lights. Nicely light up trees and great to wash your house walls with light. You will find all your lights will have the same brightness from first to the last. I used 12 gauge low voltage wire and because these lights are only 5 watts each was able to use a smaller transformer.

Answer:	You cannot see that the light is coming from individual LEDs. There is very little difference in the light cast from these bulbs and a regular halogen. I have 15 of them in my kitchen and they are excellent. The only difference is that all of the light comes from the front of the bulb and there is no ambient light coming from the rear/base area like there is on a halogen bulb. This can make the ceiling seem dark if you are used to that ambient light illuminating the ceiling/walls. I remedied this by buying a couple extra track sockets and directing those bulbs up towards the ceiling.

Answer:	I've had this problem off and on for years. So far the only thing that seems to help is to separate my smart home devices on to a separate wifi network. My cable modem wifi network is for my devices and a separate router for my computers / TVs / Phones. Make sure you're linked to the cloud service in the Linkwise app and lastly cycle the light switch once and wait 30 seconds.

Answer:	That is a good question, I do not let my light stay on for long periods of time. My daughter uses hers daily for hours and it is not hot to the touch. After being on for hours, I can hold the bulb easily!

Answer:	You are correct they only work on 2.4. I have a mesh and had no issue with getting them set up. The instructions say that if you do receive an error to turn off your 5G while setting them up and turn it back on after set up is complete.

Answer:	It's available now. Download the Meross app and update the bulbs' firmware. The Home controls are weird and unintuitive and difficult to program in repeatable and meaningful ways, though (that's on Apple). I set the bulbs up in Home, Alexa, and the Meross app and can switch between platforms at will, but I end up using the routines I made in Alexa most often because I could never really get the color I wanted with any consistency. That's all on Apple's side, and I hope they give us more intuitive controls with the next update.
Question:	What if alexa cannot discover light, but the light works in the lifx (or homekit) app
Answer:	Yes - They work with Home Kit. They also work with Alexa, and their proprietary Meross app. In fact, we have them set up to work with all three. At once. The bulbs work pretty seamlessly, and you can switch between platforms at will. Caveat: The Apple Home kit does not support the full spectrum of color controls (well, it kind of does, but the color controls in Home are SO unwieldy that it's impossible to be specific with your color choices). The Alexa and Meross apps allow you to program the colors and intensity in much more meaningful ways, much more specifically, and WAY easier than the weird Home App controls. Home Kit works, but I look forward to seeing more intuitive and specific color controls. In the meanwhile, I end up using the routines I programmed in the Alexa app to control the lights more often than I use Siri or Home. Other caveat: You'll need to update the bulb firmware for Home to work well at all, so download the Meross app and do that first! It's simple and quick.

Answer:	Yes. For the bulb to be controlled by wifi you have to have it in the on position. If the bulb is “off” via the app, turning the switch off and on will make it turn on. If the bulb is “on” via the app, turning the switch will make it turn off, but you will not be able to control the bulb via the app.
Question:	will this work with a UK plug? is it 220v compatible
Answer:	The likely cause: The light is not connected to the LIFX cloud. The most common fix is to switch off at the light switch, wait 5 seconds, switch back on, wait 20 seconds. If you have your LIFX and Alexa accounts integrated (i.e. you’ve enabled the LIFX skill), the Alexa app should notify you that a new light has joined the network. You may have to repeat once or twice if it doesn’t work the first time.

Conveniently create just the right light for reading, watching TV, or entertaining, with the Lutron Caseta Wireless plug-in lamp dimmer and Pico remote control. The plug-in lamp dimmer simply plugs into a standard outlet and can be used with up to two lamps. Control the lights from anywhere in the room by using the Pico remote control either in your hand, on a tabletop pedestal (sold separately) or by mounting the remote directly to the wall. Answer:	It's standard size so it probably would fit assuming the screws for the plate are in the middle. As a recall the plate that comes with it snaps on.
Question:	Do the two outlets work independently of one another
Answer:	We regret that this switch does not compatible with IFTTT.

Wi-Fi request: Connect your iPhone to 2.4GHz home Wi-Fi while setting up HomeKit. If you are having a Mesh Wi-Fi name for both your 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi and it keeps fail during setup. You may need to turn off the 5GHz on your Wi-Fi router temporarily. Make sure that your smart device is always covered by strong Wi-Fi signal, otherwise your smart device may not respond to Home app.
