Question:	How long do the batteries last
Answer:	It's going to depend on how often you use it. I have not gotten more than a year on the rooms I use every day. Make sure you don't over tighten that tiny screw on the battery door! Terrible design that makes it very easy to strip the screw.
Question:	If i buy a second dimmer switch, will it be independent of the one i already have? i don’t want all lights to come on
Answer:	You would have to programme it to be associated with a particular bulb or group of bulbs, so it would be independent of the current dimmer and any bulbs you have by default. However, if you buy one of the dimmer packs that include a bulb, sometimes the dimmer is already paired with the included bulb, so you would have to reset the dimmer in this instance.
Question:	Do you need to use an app for this or will it just work with the bulb and remote
Answer:	I purchased this via ebay. No. You do not need the app. Both the bulb and the remote will work fine without the Philips Hue Hub. The Philips Hue Hub is a product that allows the bulbs to interface with your phone. This system is designed to work out of the box with each other. The remote comes preprogrammed for the bulb. However, it is possible to purchase the Philips Hue Hub to use the (free) Philips Hue app with this bulb and with other bulbs in your possession, and that will allow you to re-set up the remote to accomplish more specific and varied effects like launching scenes that you have created. I am guessing that users who report needing app to set up the remote, first purchased a Philips Hue Starter Kit, (which comes with a Hub), and thus have only ever experienced using a Philips Hue Dimmer Switch with respect to the Philips Hue app, which will of course require a setup of the switch to integrate it into your existing system. This set will work conveniently and consistently out of the box. No phone, app, or Hub required.
Question:	What happens in a power cut? When power is restored, does the light come on? Or does it return to it's last off/on state

Answer:	Bulb life is based on the average "on" time to failure. If a bulb is rated at 50,000 hours, in theory half will fail before that and half after but most should be fairly close to that number or slightly over. Doing the math for 50,000 hours, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year gives you 5.7 years. If you have them on for 8 hours a day, or one third of the time, then in theory they would last three times that long. Your actual mileage may vary.

Answer:	Lutron does not recommend two AYCL-153P-WH dimmers in 3-way application. The second location would need to be a standard 3-way mechanical switch.

Answer:	The switch generates heat so it has tabs on both sides to prevent you from mounting them side by side without being aware that you have to "derate" them if you want to install them side be side. In other words, you can put 600 watts of incandescent bulbs on one dimmer if you mount it alone but only 500 watts of incandescent on a dimmer with one side tab removed (you remove only the tab(s) that overlap) and only 400 watts load with both tabs removed (as you would do mounting 3 switches in a standard 3 gang box). They also include a chart for derating when you mix CFL/LED bulbs with incandescent.

Question:	Will this work with smart things
Answer:	I appreciate all the explanations given. When we buy 'smart' devices, it's always best if we have multiple connectivity options, so we can form group commands and have redundancy in case one of our systems goes down. If Samsung Things could access the Smart Life app, then we could connect the dimmer switch to SmartThings via the app. Hopefully, the device manufacturers will see the value in enhancement of the connectivity options. Until then, thankfully we have IFTTT, along with Alexa & Google.

STEP 1: Install the Smart Dimmer Switch

1>Attach the white wire(neutral wire) from tessan smart switch to the group of white wires (neutral wire) in the electric box.

1> Login the "Smart Life - Smart Living" App with your account.

2> Click"+" in the top right corner of app to add the smart switch.

3> Click "Switch(Wi-Fi)" in Electrician Category.

4> Check the switch is in the pair mode, AP mode will be more stable when connect the switch to wifi

5> Follow the app instructions to complete the addition

STEP 4: Pair with Alexa/Google home

1>Pair with Alexa

>click"Skills" > search"Smart Life" app > click"enable" > Login with your smart life account (the same account that you pair with your switch) > click "Link now" > finished

2>Pair with Google home

>"Home Control" > Click "+" add a device > search "Smart life" app > Login with your smart life account (the same account that you pair with your switch) > click "Link now" > finished

Q1: Why the switch can't control the lights? or Why the lights is always powered, the switch can't turn on/off and dim/brighten the lights?

A: You attached the hot wire to the light directly, so the swith could not control the lights, just rewiring follow the Wiring Diagram and STEP 1.

Q2: Why the switch can't connect to wifi?

A: Kindly please check and follow the steps:

1> Check the Wiring follow the Wiring Diagram and STEP 1

2> Make sure your WiFi router on 2.4G Channel, no access limitation (like Static IP or MacAddress Bonding), set a different name for the two channel when the router is on 2.4G and 5G mixed mode, as "wifi 2.4g" and "wifi 5g".

3> Make sure your phone is on 2.4ghz channel When syncing with switch.

4> Installed the correct App named "Smart Life - Smart Living" or "Tuya Smart".

5> Use the AP mode will improve your success rate for the wifi connection.

6> Please check the number of devices connected to wifi router, When the number exceeds the performance of the router, the wifi connection would be unstable or failed. so you need pause or turn off some devices, For some old routers, keep the number of devices connected to the router less than 10 at the same time, it will improve your success rate for the wifi connection.

Q3: Why the switch can't connect with Alexa/Google home?

A: -> Make sure your switch was installed correctly, add the switch in the "smart life" APP and be sure the switch works well with the smart life app.

-> Check the skill your enabled was correct (the same as the Smart Life App logo).

-> Verify that the account used in the skill is the same as in the Smart Life App (many people use another account, or Alexa's account).
