Answer:	You could use this in conjunction with the Insteon 2475F FanLinc Insteon Dual-Band Ceiling Fan and Light Controller, to controll the light functions. Use your remote to control the fan functions. The switch is of course unnecessary however.

Answer:	This item needs to work with an Insteon hub, there is a hub that works with HomeKit. But this is a combination I have not tried.

Answer:	The Smarthome page for the 2466DW says nothing about dual-band. Neither the quickstart guide nor the owners manual say anything about dual-band. The owners manual states, in more than one place, that you need to "make sure you have installed at least two Access Points (#2443) or other dual-band INSTEON products". I think it's pretty certain that this product is NOT dual-band.

Answer:	If your light bulbs are the new 26 Watt GU type, they will not work with dimmers. That means you have to plug the lamp power cord directly into a 110 volt AC outlet. Dimmers just won't work. At least that's what the vendor told me, and confirmed by my techie son! The switch on the lamp stand allows you to light up one, two or all four of the bulbs. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No it is not the same. The 70-190 super felt seems to be thicker. I actually went to my local supply store and bought Roberts blackjack to supplement it. It's very thin stuff. Save your money.

Answer:	It helps tremendously. You will still get the typical hollowing sound from a floating floor buts its definitely muted. And in comparison to your standard grade padding? Its about a 70% improvement. Well worth the upgrade.

Answer:	Yes. The purpose of the underlayment is two fold: insulation from sound and thermal barrier. You do not want to have cold feet from the basement coming up, and you do not want to have the sounds of clicks of heels (especially high heels) echoing through the house. I see no problem in providing an extra layer of protection for the vinyl because by nature, vinyl is soft.The best thing to do is to see what your vinyl floor manufacturer recommends, because you do not want to void any warranty

Answer:	My training aid came with one set of batteries in the device and one set of batteries as a replacement. Yes, the batteries are LR44. Three batteries are needed and the laser seems to use up the power very quickly so I would recommend buying extras. Important: Manually turn off the device when you are done, it will save the battery.

I purchased the Pro version and it does integrate with the Home app for IOS and Android (I use both) but only thing you can do is to turn on/off/dim lights from the app. You CANNOT create rules to turn lights on/off at a certain time - have them turn on when motion or alarm - etc. You also CANNOT use the Comcast/Xfinity touchscreen or web app to turn on/off/dim lights. Only scheduling options you have is to use the Lutron app and so no option for having lights come on with alarms or motion etc. I like the Lutron dimmers because they work with LED bulbs - the Centralite/Comcast controllers work great and I have several but they do not work with LED bulbs. I use Centralite/Comcast controllers for lights I need to come on with alarms/motion/etc and use Lutron for lights I just want on/off at certain times.
Question:	Is the bridge required to work with homekit? similar, i guess, to philips hue
Answer:	Yes. I have both the Phillips Hue and Lutron dimmer switched/outlets. To integrate with HomeKit, you will need to get both the Hues Bridge and the Lutron Bridge. There is an alternative method for running a Linux server running Homebridge that can replace the bridges, but it's difficult to setup and requires either a Raspberry Pie or dedicated Linux box / virtual box.
