Answer:	This product is rated to handle 100 watts of LED and CFL or 250 watts of incandescent and halogen line voltage lighting loads. As long as the Bistro lights fit these specifications and are not low voltage with a transformer, then this dimmer should be able to control them.

Answer:	Yes, if the LED can be dimmed. This is a very smooth operating dimmer. When you slide it to the lowest brilliance of the LED, the slide encounters the very slightest barrier which you have to push a bit further to actually turn off the bulb. If you don't slide to the very end, the LED just remains at very low brilliance!

SINGLE POLE/3-WAY CIRCUIT INSTALLATION

• Single Pole: Connect the green dimmer ground wire to ground wire in the wall-box, Connect the black dimmer wire to the hot input wire removed from the switch,Connect either of the 2 red dimmer wires to the light fixture wire removed from the switch,Use wire nut to cap the remaining red wire on dimmer

Manual Control

At the low end of the dimming level when the light starts to flicker, fine tune the dimming performance by turning the adjustment dial counter-clockwise so that the light output is stable. Set your slider to where there's no hum or flickering on light fixtures.

Screw-free wall plate

Install the dimmer and mounting frame with the tabs facing down. Put on the screw-free wall plate after tuning the adjustment dial.

Compatible with CFL/LED

Trouble shooting

1: Light flash in the whole dimming range

a. Check the lighting/lamp is dimmable or not

b. The lighting fixture is not compatible with our dimmer

c. Most dimmable LEDs and CFLs will not acheive as low level as incandescent or halogen sources.

d. Control a group of lighting fixtures/lamps with one dimmer may cause flicker due to variation of dimming circuit and dimming range. Please use dimmer to

control lights/lamps in the same type or same model.

2. Light flash in low dimming range

a.Slightly turn the adjustment dial counter- clockwise to achieve full compatibility with the lights

3. Get dimmer list from light bulb/lighting fixture's supplier to avoid compatible issue with our dimmer, a broad dimmer list means less dimming issue, such as flicker,buzz, or flash issue, also, better buy FCC compliance lighting product for stable performance.

Answer:	I'm using mine with a 3-way,300 watt mogul base bulb. I turn the 3-way lamp switch to "high", and never touch that switch again. The dimmer switch then gives you whatever level of light you want. As for CFL's, it would have to be a "dimmable" type bulb, but wouldn't have to be a 3-way bulb.
Question:	Will this wok for a halogen lamp that is 150 watts
Answer:	I won't rule it out completely. But, based on my struggles to cram just two wires inside the tight spaces within this dimmer, I myself would not recommend trying to install it on a lamp cord with the third (ground) wire. I'm guessing you would find it almost impossible to find enough space inside this dimmer for the third wire. But I can't imagine why an ordinary lamp would have a third ground wire. I''ve never heard of that.

Answer:	If your light bulbs are the new 26 Watt GU type, they will not work with dimmers. That means you have to plug the lamp power cord directly into a 110 volt AC outlet. Dimmers just won't work. At least that's what the vendor told me, and confirmed by my techie son! The switch on the lamp stand allows you to light up one, two or all four of the bulbs. Hope this helps.

Answer:	You could use this in conjunction with the Insteon 2475F FanLinc Insteon Dual-Band Ceiling Fan and Light Controller, to controll the light functions. Use your remote to control the fan functions. The switch is of course unnecessary however.

Answer:	This item needs to work with an Insteon hub, there is a hub that works with HomeKit. But this is a combination I have not tried.

Answer:	The Smarthome page for the 2466DW says nothing about dual-band. Neither the quickstart guide nor the owners manual say anything about dual-band. The owners manual states, in more than one place, that you need to "make sure you have installed at least two Access Points (#2443) or other dual-band INSTEON products". I think it's pretty certain that this product is NOT dual-band.

Answer:	Yes. I have the 2466DW installed in my kitchen in a 3-gang switch box in the center between two other standard Lutron toggle switches. I needed the Insteon as it was the only toggle style dimmer switch compatible with controlling the low-voltage(twicebright CL1220TL) mini-recessed lights that use dimmable LED bulbs above my sink. The switch is high quality and easy to program for the desired on level.
