Answer:	Not very well. it is designed to be mounted IN a ceiling. You would have to make some king of support if mounted exposed (ugly). If you are mounting it IN a ceiling then you would have to be careful about thickness of ceiling, it is deigned for 1/2 or 5/8 sheetrock.

BTW... I still love these lights. I installed 6 in my bath remodel a few months ago and they work well. They are extremely bright - hurts to stare straight into the light, but the remain only warm to the touch. They are easy to install since all they need is electricity and a whole in your drywall. They come on instantly and fade quickly when switched off.

Answer:	MNSL L46 1LL 120V 40K 80CRI M6 is marketed as non dimming however we ran out of non dimming drivers and started installing dimming driver in this fixture. Your customer will have to open up the fixture to see if they have a dimming driver or not. If there are gray and purple wires coming from the driver then it's a 0-10 volt dimming. These would not be line voltage dimming and will not work on a line voltage dimmer. They will need to pull the low voltage dimming wires (gray and purple) from fixture to a 0-10 volt dimmer switch.

Answer:	My lights did come with those strange connectors. They are made such that you can strip the house wires and stick them into those connectors. My house wiring was not the correct gauge, so I cut the strange connectors off, striped the wires, and used wire nuts. Apparently the connectors are made for 14 gauge wire and my house wiring in that area is 12 gauge. Other than that little snag, installation went smooth and I have been very pleased with the lights.

Answer:	I've had a very bad experience with dimmers and these fixtures. I installed 6 lights and tried 3 different dimmers, including the current GE dimmer and the praised HomeSeer, and all of them had a horrible flicker when on our utility power. I ended up swapping 1 light out for a name brand from Home Depot (I think Feit or Cree) and that was enough to stop the whole circuit from flickering, but they still hum when dimmed more than my other lights. The nice thing is that once the cans are installed I can replace the bulbs/trims for a lot easier than a whole unit, so maybe over time I'll swap the rest out. I highly recommend buying the metal can fixture separately so that you can swap out LED trims with your dimmer in case you have issues.
