Answer:	I have been using a renewed K70 MK.2 for about 2-3 weeks now and it's the same keyboard. From what I understand, "renewal" means that it is similar to "refurbished" and I have not noticed any differences between a new version and this renewed version.

Caution: Use 12-14AWG copper or copper-clad wire only. Easy Installation

Please Turn the power“OFF” before you connect the wires

1.Stripping the Insulation from the Wire about 0.4 inches.

2.Please use a cross screwdriver to loosen the three screws that need to be connected to the wires in a counterclockwise direction. Please Do NOT unscrew the screws completely.

3.Insert the White Neutral Wire and Black Live Wires respectively as shown in the picture and then tighten the screws in a clockwise direction. Please make sure the wire is fully inserted to the bottom.

4.Wrap the Yellow Ground Wire around the screw as shown in the picture, and then tighten the screw in a clockwise direction.

Answer:	I realize this is old but want to get more comments in here for those buying to judge by. I never run it without the backlit keyboard on so I can only comment on that. The first day I used it after charging I went on a bit of a run and it ran a full 24 hours give or take an hour on a full charge. With regular use I am experiencing about the same as the other comment and charging every 3 days or so. I can only assume it would be noticeably longer without the backlight.
