Answer:	No it is not the same. The 70-190 super felt seems to be thicker. I actually went to my local supply store and bought Roberts blackjack to supplement it. It's very thin stuff. Save your money.

Answer:	It helps tremendously. You will still get the typical hollowing sound from a floating floor buts its definitely muted. And in comparison to your standard grade padding? Its about a 70% improvement. Well worth the upgrade.

Answer:	Yes. The purpose of the underlayment is two fold: insulation from sound and thermal barrier. You do not want to have cold feet from the basement coming up, and you do not want to have the sounds of clicks of heels (especially high heels) echoing through the house. I see no problem in providing an extra layer of protection for the vinyl because by nature, vinyl is soft.The best thing to do is to see what your vinyl floor manufacturer recommends, because you do not want to void any warranty

Answer:	You could use this in conjunction with the Insteon 2475F FanLinc Insteon Dual-Band Ceiling Fan and Light Controller, to controll the light functions. Use your remote to control the fan functions. The switch is of course unnecessary however.
Question:	Can you program 2 remotes to work with one switch? I want one wall mounted and one hand held
Answer:	This item needs to work with an Insteon hub, there is a hub that works with HomeKit. But this is a combination I have not tried.
Question:	Does anyone know if this dimmer works on a three way switch
Answer:	The Smarthome page for the 2466DW says nothing about dual-band. Neither the quickstart guide nor the owners manual say anything about dual-band. The owners manual states, in more than one place, that you need to "make sure you have installed at least two Access Points (#2443) or other dual-band INSTEON products". I think it's pretty certain that this product is NOT dual-band.
Question:	I purchased the Lutron P-PKG1W-WH and my new LED bulbs are flickering when being dimmed. They are dimmable bulbs and I have tried 2 different brands
Answer:	Yes. I have the 2466DW installed in my kitchen in a 3-gang switch box in the center between two other standard Lutron toggle switches. I needed the Insteon as it was the only toggle style dimmer switch compatible with controlling the low-voltage(twicebright CL1220TL) mini-recessed lights that use dimmable LED bulbs above my sink. The switch is high quality and easy to program for the desired on level.

Answer:	2842-222 is the original Insteon motion sensor, now discontinued. 2844-222 is the new (upgraded/improved) "Motion Sensor II" however it looks like perhaps an error in the Amazon product title here. If you have used the old model, you should find most of the same features here, however some configuration settings can only be modified via the iOS/Andriod app for the current-gen Insteon Hub. As of this writing, Universal Devices has not yet added support for isy994i controllers, but it is on the way (you can still link it manually to your other insteon devices though if using an ISY controller)

Answer:	As already mentioned, the motion-activated snapshot feature is incorporated into a lot of modern web ip cameras (including the insteon cameras), so if you already have a camera it's worth checking the configuration settings to see if it supports something like this already. If you're looking for something a bit more advanced, and have a computer that you can run camera monitoring software on, there's a range of 3rd party software available (Blue Iris is a popular one, that we've used ourselves) that can do complex triggering/notifications/recording/etc based on motion detected just within specific areas of the camera's field of view, etc.

Question:	Can this be configured with a hub device other than insteon
Answer:	The Insight Switch can be set up with triggers for "standby power" levels, to determine if a connected device is powered on, but not running. However, due to the amount of power a washer or dryer uses, I wouldn't recommend using it with this switch (I think it has a max capacity of 15A, and many large appliances need 20A or more) For smaller devices like a coffee maker, it can be set up with a trigger in IFTTT to notify you shortly after the switch detects power usage dropping below a certain threshold (suggesting standby power). I use mine to watch a rice cooker and let me know when it's finished cooking, so I can remotely turn it off (the rice cooker is cheap and doesn't have a power switch)

Question:	Does every hub have the range of about two feet or is it just mine
Answer:	Yes, the open/close sensor is compatible with other hub devices besides the Insteon Hub (INSTEON 2242-222 Hub). Whatever hub/controller device you choose still has to be compatible with the Insteon protocol, as the sensor only knows how to talk "Insteon", not Z-Wave or WiFi. Examples of other home automation hubs/controllers are the ISY994i and the Mi Casa Verde VeraLite. The Smarthings Hub is NOT compatible with this, as it only works with WiFi, Zigbee, and Z-Wave devices.
Question:	The inteon hub you can conect multiple switch
Answer:	No, this unit would require use of an Instoen Hub. It is not compatible with NVR systems.
Question:	Will anything connected to the insteon hub be compatible with amazon echo
Answer:	The INSTEON Hidden Door Sensor uses INSTEON over RF only and will not work with SmartThings which is Zigbey and Z-Wave only. The Revolv hub supports Zigbey, Z-Wave, INSTEON and a few other standards. My installation is currently INSTEON & some legacy X10 only. I have been very pleased with the performance of the INSTEON products. .
Question:	I just ordered an echo and i want to interface it with my x-10 modules and light switches. is this what i'm looking for
Answer:	It comes with a Lithium battery installed and is supposed to be good for 10 years. We just purchased within the last 6 months so don't have any long term results. I do know that most smoke alarms are employing the same battery with a 10 year life span.
