Answer:	The test strips can be use with your current meter. For example if you have a meter purchased in 2018; it will work without any issues. One of the main reason the box says "before 2016" is due to what is called meter validation and/or studies before that time frame, in this case year 2016. Means prior 2016 they were studies year after year on meters manufactured. After 2016 the meters has not changed the brand, model, serial and overall equipment. From year 2016, 2017, etc the meters kept the same designed and their performed has been equivalently.

My plan is to get a different brand strip to find out if it’s the strips or the meter. Sorry this doesn’t answer your question, but you aren’t alone with the inaccuracies of the readings.

Code numbers are used to calibrate your meter with the test strips you are using to obtain accurate test results.You must code every Ultra meter before using it for the first time and then every time you change to another vial of test strips. Coding is easy! Start with the meter off. With clean dry hands, remove a GenStrip50 Test strip from the vial. Insert the test strip into the test port. Make sure the three contact bars and meter are facing you. Push the test strip in as far as it will go. Do Not bend the test strip. After the start-up test screen appears, the meter will display the code from your last test. If the codes already match, wait three seconds. If the code on the meter does not match the code on the test strip vial, press ▲ or ▼ to match the code number on the test strip vial. Wait approximately 3 seconds. The display will advance to the screen with the flashing blood drop icon. The meter is now ready to perform a blood glucose test.

Answer:	I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "mount" but it does have an adjustable "bracket" that is used to "mount" it atop a desktop computer. That "bracket" is attached to the camera itself. I don't know it the bracket is strong enough to let it stand on it's own without folding.

Answer:	Whether something is priced too high is of course relative, but Walmart does sell these for $17.88 per 100 pack, $9.00 for a 50ct and $5 for a 25ct. These are prices on their website and in their stores as of March 06,2019; I went to buy them and only checked Amazon because my local store was out of stock. I have been buying and using these strips for over 5 years and those have been the prices at Walmart as long as I can recall. I live in central Texas, so regional adjustments may allow for difference in other areas.
