Answer:	It's not difficult if you have the right tools. Use a soldering iron with controllable temperature and a small size tip. For removal, I recommend the Chip Quik Kit and desoldering braid. Don't drag the desoldering braid across the pads or you could damage them. Just lightly dab the pads with the braid. Also, make sure to use lower heat while cleaning up the pads with the braid. I add flux to the braid even if it comes pre-fluxed. For installation, make sure the pads are clean. Add flux to pads and be generous with it. Solder the larger mounting pins first, then sweep across the small pins using a small amount of solder. If you have solder bridges you can sweep them away from the pins with the soldering iron. Use a jewelers loupe to look closely and make sure all the pins are connected properly with solder and there are no bridges. Double-check that the four larger pins are soldered correctly. They are the mounts that take all the pressure when inserting the HDMI cable. If these are not done properly, when you go to plug in the HDMI cable it will just rip the HDMI port off the board.

Answer:	It is absolutely compatible with bulb mode, but the RC-6 does require that its remote control infrared transmitter be able to see the infrared receiver on the front of the camera. That means being at least slightly ahead of the camera and to the right of the lens, which shouldn't interfere with any picture taking. Press the transmit button once and the shutter opens; press it a second time and the shutter closes, pretty as you please. Because we are talking bold mode, you, of course, determine the interval. Even though you are using a remote control, you can get some noticeable shake, especially with telephoto lenses, and that means a less-than-perfectly-sharp image.
