Question:	Does it support local expandable storage
Answer:	I think it still does not, and this is really a must have (using the USB port on the Homebase 2). I've had our doorbell installed for 85 days and it's consumed almost 2/3rds of the onboard storage. This is with standard settings and pausing it whenever we're our shooting baskets in the driveway, and on a fairly low traffic street (though the filtering does a great job so we're not recording cars driving by, etc.) I would prefer to have the settings to record more frequently, but I think I'd get 2 months of recordings before it would start to delete the oldest recordings. I suppose this is somewhat OK for a doorbell, but there is no way I'll add any security cameras unless I can add at least 128gb per camera (so 512gb support or better?) HDD support would be ideal. I'm a fan of Eufy products overall, but this is a huge oversight.
Question:	Will this doorbell eventually be HomeKit compatible
Answer:	HomeKit support would be huge. Currently there are 0 video doorbells that are HomeKit compatible. Ring had promised it for years as a sales gimmick. If eufy pays and goes through the HomeKit authorization process, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy all their products. Without a doubt working as a smart systems installer, being HomeKit certified would put you ahead of the competition.

Answer:	There are a lot of variables here. One is, are you set to full-time recording or motion-detected only? (I recommend the latter). What hours will you be having it operational (I don't use it all the time)? Those are the two biggest impacts on your length of time. 4 Cameras full time at 1080p for 7 days will take up over three terabytes, which is about 2 times the actual storage on the NVR, so you'd be dumping the data about every three days. As a contrast, I used two cameras with mine, only during working hours, motion detected and it ran for 2.5 months before I had to dump it.There's a calculator you can use to estimate the time needed. Answer:	No, there is no internal battery. It needs to supply continuous power to it.

Answer:	The amount of recordings greatly depends on too many variables to answer this question. I have mine set at 2k, recording during all doorbell rings and motion detection in the medium sensitivity setting only at night. The kids like to play with the doorbell, and we get fairly frequent deliveries so it sees quite a bit of traffic. It currently is storing over 100 video clips for the past 10 days.
Question:	What's the power requirement to the doorbell? What voltage is required
Answer:	16v @ 30VA is the standard voltage for doorbells in the US, which is why the Eufy uses it. This translates to 16V @ 1.875 A. It is very inexpensive to buy a power adapter with these specs, an Amazon search shows several basic power adapters for less than $12. You can even search for “doorbell transformer” on Amazon and see dozens of options for $10-$15, including ones that plug into a wall outlet. Note that you can go higher on the amps (Useful for very long wire runs), but the voltage needs to be in the 16V-20V range otherwise you risk damaging the doorbell and creating a potential safety concern.

1. Hold Music Button over 3 seconds, it will trigger clean pairing function, so wrongly believed the product damage, but is not. We improved the manual and extended 3 seconds to 5 seconds.

2. The span of 4 levels volume is more wider, no longer concentrated in short interval, so that it can be more quieter or more louder.

3.The communication range is farther and the ability to penetrate the wall was enhanced.



Use in Out-Of-The-Box Mode (Work on default ringtone):

Step1: Insert the receiver into the socket.

Step2: Find a suitable location, stick the transmitter or fix it with a screw (Tips: remove the battery protective film), thus ok.

View in app for at least 5 days or more. I believe there is a cap to how much time recording you have access to before oldest starts getting deleted. The paid monthly subscription gives you features like local and cloud storage that gives you control of recordings, ect.

If it helps, the videos can be shared with several options. I share it to myself by email then I capture it with software I have for capturing videos on my desktop. You can pair any number of chimes since that process is just telling the chime to listen for the coded radio signal from the push button(s). The converse is not unlimited... you can have any one chime paired with a limited number of push buttons (or other accessories that honeywell markets, for example, for the series 9 chime "You can connect up to 6 accessories to your doorbell, including other push buttons, window or door opening sensors, and motion sensors."
