Answer:	If you have a spare wire (in my case Blue was not connected) you could hook that to blue in the furnace - this would save you from having to pull out through the wall to the thermostat. Usually you wouldn't do this, because if you a spare wire in the furnace, you just connect it to the screw-down on the furnace board that says "C".

Answer:	Yes this will work. It supplies the required 24VAC There's an answer to this question with a link. The power adapter it sends you to wiill NOT work, it's 12VDC . The ecobee4 requires 24VAC

A RSSI of less than -70dBm will not work reliably.

Answer:	I don't think so. Depends on thermostat's power consumption. Power output of this adapter is about 8 Watt. If power consumption of single thermostat is 5 Watt, for example, then you cannot power more then one thermostat by this model adapter. You need more powerful adapter, with bigger power output, exceeding current 300 mA.

Answer:	It's easier said then done. It is technically possible, but be warned that this thing is incredibly flimsy. The wire is so thin it broke multiple times when attempting to cut and strip it. You have to be very careful when attempting this.

Answer:	If it is not connected to internet, remote access is nit possible. You cannot access it by your mobile device but thermostat will still works as it is. It has its own power and if you set it before the internet connection is lost, it will still works with all your settings and preferences.
Question:	What do you mean bty requiring "C" wire
Answer:	Yes but the difference between heating and cooling will auto set with a minimum 5 degree difference. 5 degrees is quite a bit so I really don't use it much. You can't just set it to 70 and have it hold that temp and if I had to guess, it's due to the fact that heating and cooling use the same ducts and constantly switching from hot to cold will cause condensation and really isn't efficient at all. Really, the only time you'd use this feature is during fall and spring when the temperature outside can vary. Generally, mine is either set to heat or cool depending on the season. That being said, if you're ok with a 5 degree swing either way then it works well :-).

Answer:	I have a Nest E. Since it doesn't have an RH port, I just used R. So I have one wire connected to C and another to R (in addition to the existing R wire). I was able to get both wires to fit in the R terminal just fine. I'm not sure if this is officially support or correct (I'm not an electrician), but it seems to have been working fine for the last week. No issues yet, and the thermostat is now getting 200 mA (instead of the 20mA I was getting before without the C wire). My thermostat is now at 3.9V.

Answer:	I called Honeywell and was told the "C" wire is blue and in fact mine is blue. I have no black wire. I have 5 wires yellow, white, blue, green and red. I was told I could check for AC voltage by connecting my meter to the red and blue wires. The Honeywell tech was very helpful. 800 468-1502.

Answer:	There is no functional difference between the two. This TH9320WF5003 is white and the RTH9580WF1005 is silver. The RTH9580WF1005 is the retail model with a 1 year warranty and this one is intended to be a contractor only model with a 5 year warranty. Honeywell's former policy was that the TH9320WF5003 warranty wouldn't be honored if not installed by a contractor. However, they have since changed this. You now get 1 year with this too if you install it yourself.

Answer:	When you setup your ring device. Did you setup for wired or battery? You can also check the status of the device if it is wired or not. The voltage on the transformer should be at least 24vdc.

Answer:	You would need to plug the transformer into the outlet, then if you can run the wires inside the wall so they are hidden that would work fine. But that isn't always that easy to do, especially if it needs to be a long wire run. I plugged mine in the mechanical room & connected it to an unused thermostat wire that ran to the thermostat in another room. My original system only used 2 wires, but was wired with a 6 wire cable.
