Answer:	Your phone (and Smart Life App) needs to be on the same WiFi as the outlet to do the initial setup and find the plug, but once the plug is set up on your WiFi network, the phone can control the plug from any internet connection like 4G, 5G, or some other WiFI. The p;lug will need to remain on the same WiFi as it was set up, but your phone can control the plug through the Smart Life app as long as your phone can get to the Internet. I disabled my phone WiFi and was still able to turn the plug on and off with only 4G.

Answer:	You can pair each transmitter to either or both receivers. It's a great feature! You can also program the receiver to have a different distinct ring tone for each transmitter. Also, the receiver flashes blue for one transmitter (doorbell), and red for the other one. So, we ordered two sets. We have one transmitter for the downstairs door, and one for the upstairs door. Then we have four receivers all through the house, on every level. All four receivers ring when either doorbell is pressed - with a different ring tone depending on which doorbell was pressed. Note that this feature is not really clearly explained in the instruction manual or in the item description, but it works!

Question:	How do you change the battery in the button? Mine has died- and can't figure out how to change it
Answer:	Find the slit in the transmitter, press it and pop it open this way you can access to the battery. Model C works with a 12V 23A battery.
Question:	How to I sync the remote and the plugin? They work separately just not together
Answer:	You have to have the remote and the doorbell together. Select the chime you want then hold the volume control button for 5 seconds. That should pair them. If you want to change the chime after you have installed the doorbell....that is a pain. The best idea I had was to plug the control box into an extension cord and bring it out to the doorbell.
Question:	Is it unheard of that these go off on their own? mines been ringing all hours of the night. it’s not pranksters either. should i trash it
Answer:	I also have a receiver that plays false rings. Respondes that yours works fine are only helpful to conclude this product is defective. Sado Tech should monitor these questions and chime in on this problem. If battery were the problem I would suspect all receivers would false ring when battery becomes week.
