Answer:	This cord says it is rated for 13 amps, your heater should have a label that lists its current requirement in amps or in Watts. If it is in watts divide the wattage by the voltage (120V) to get the amount of current it will draw. 120V times 13 amps = 1560 watts maximum. Your heater will probably run on this but you want to know for sure, don't guess, and don't even consider overloading a cord for half an hour or even a second, what if you fall asleep? Be safe and remember this simple formulae so you will always know if it is OK. Poor or loose connections can cause heating also so if the wall plug doesn't fit tight get it replaced.

Question:	What is max wattage of device to be connected to Smart Plug
Answer:	Mine caught on fire with a little 1500 watt space heater, and to compare, my hair dryer is 1875 watts (not plugged into a smart plug of course), so it doesn't take much for these to catch on fire. Be careful if you use anything in it larger than maybe a desk lamp in my opinion. I unplugged all 3 of my kasa smart plugs and won't use them anymore.
Question:	Does this device retain the settings if power is disconnected? Power outage, breaker blown, etc
Answer:	Two parts to this answer... First, yes it retains it's settings if the power is off or it's unplugged. Second, I powered on my lamp then unplugged the unit from the wall. Upon plugging it back in after a couple seconds it turned itself back on (the last state it was in) and within a few more seconds re-connected to my wifi network.Hope this answers peoples questions about power outages and operation...
