Answer:	Because the higher the pressure in a tire, the lower the rolling resistance, and the faster you go. However, the higher the pressure, the rougher the ride, so when pumping up your tires you have to find the sweet spot between reduced rolling resistance and a comfortable ride. Question:	How many Watts can it handle
Answer:	This cord should handle up to a 1,500 (1,495) Watt load. I just checked wattage for an LG 8k BTU energy star compliant unit that says it draws 700 Watts. So unless something is drastically wrong with your A/C unit, I can't imagine it would pull even 700 Watts with only 5/8th the cooling capacity of that LG unit. Any problems you might encounter wouldn't be due to an extra 3 ft. of power cord run with this cord, unless it's plugged into a much longer cord or equal or lesser capacity and is therefore not plugged directly into the wall.
