Cords can be faulty even with the most Rigid quality control standards. If the cord is hot enough it is uncomfortable to hold un plug immediately and get a different cord!

Answer:	It’s just a nice high-quality extension cord. The packaging says 15 amps, 1875 watts so I’d presume it works with any device within those parameters.

Answer:	Lights are LED so they should last. However, there are more current versions of this umbrella have have solar powered lights (eliminating the plug-in cord) or attachments you can buy here on Amazon that attach to the stand for lights (battery operated). I don't really understand the 3-LED mode settings, standard ON, is all you'll likely use. The flashing settings are unusable. It should just have a hi/low light setting and that's it. Mine's held up well over the years, still works even after being exposed to the spring/fall rains

I am not aware of any usb 3 to usb c cables capable of putting out this amount of wattage.
