If you are asking about the three permanent elbows attached to the mushroom dome above the fan and where the motor is bolted yes. The kit does come with three lock nuts which I did use when I bolted the new motors to those three bent legs. They also sent three extender pieces you are seeing on the photo. My units did not require the use of these. Make sure your fan blades are not warped when re-attaching the fan blades to the new motor or there will be a severe vibration. One of my fans required the fan blades to be replaced which was only $18.00 for a Lomanco replacement.

Answer:	Oiling the motor once or twice a year will extend the life of the motor. If the motor requires oiling, oil ports or openings will be located on both motor end plates. Use a SAE 20 non-detergent motor oil.

Answer:	I did one in a gable vent, it comes with nice instructions. I mounted it on a piece of plywood then mounted two 2x4s to the gable vent framing then mounted the plywood to the 2x4. It was easy, my 12 yr old son and I did it in 30 minutes. It was summer time in the attic so we wanted to do it fast. I bought a cheap extension and cut off one end and wired it to the leads then ran it to an outlet in the attic.
Question:	How long is the thermostat wiring. How far will it reach away from the fan
Answer:	Wiring on the fan thermostat is very short about 12" or so. I rewired it and moved the thermostat to a location about 25 feet away. This allows me to set the thermostat without having to crawl down the entire length of the attic.
