Answer:	Sandy, the feet are a hard rubber/vinyl so it conforms to the surface that it is on. You can very secure about being on the ladder. I use it on a highly polished wooden floor and this adheres. I have even put it on a slightly slanted floor and it worked beautifully.

Answer:	I bought the 10310BA model with the rubber tread covers, and a 300 lb capacity. I weigh 300 lbs and it is very sturdy when I am standing on it. It also has wheels on the back legs. When I have to move it, I can leave it open and tip it backwards and roll it anywhere I need to take it without having to close it first. (This in my opinion is a time, and back saver). The model 11903 has a 375 lb capacity, no rubber on the treads, no wheels, and much larger rubber feet on the leg bottoms for better stability on grates and uneven surfaces. To move this one I think you would have to close it , and lift it . So in my opinion, unless you are going to use it in areas where you need the extra large ladder shoes for extra stability, and you require a extra heavy duty ladder, I would recommend getting the 10310BA with the wheels. I love mine, it is the best ladder I have ever owned, and being in my early 70's, I feel very stable and safe when I get on it.
