Answer:	If you have the original stereo, the best way to know is to take it out, or get it so you can see the back, and if you have an open port in the back, you should be compatable. But the port you're putting it in is originally designed for a CD changer, so you're probably put of luck, unless you want to sacrifice the changer for the interface.

This ignitor is the "narrow" style used by Goodman Manufacturing on many furnace models built under the Amana, Goodman, and Janitrol brands. The ceramic block on this ignitor is 1-1/4" wide, 1-3/16" deep, and 1/2" thick on the edge without the ridge. There is a locating ridge on the top right corner of the ceramic block when viewed from the wire end. The heating element portion of the ignitor is 2-1/4" long. A 90 degree mounting bracket is included that mounts to the ceramic block. If the original bracket is a snap-in fit the ignitor can be snapped into the original bracket if desired. The lead wires are 5-1/4" long and are terminated with a plug that has two male pins inside a plastic housing. This connection style was used on many Goodman, Amana, and Janitrol furnace models. Two high temperature ceramic wire nuts are also included and can be used if your existing plug is damaged or is not long enough. This ignitor is the replacement for Goodman Amana Janitrol part numbers B1401015S and B1401018. This part is covered by the exclusive Duralight two year limited replacement warranty when purchased from an authorized dealer. The old unit is not compatible with anything in the line today. It must be completely removed and replaced. Answer:	The outer ring is plastic. I’m sure you can paint it. That said, it’s very noisy, and not as effective as I had hoped. In hindsight, I’d choose another.

Answer:	Grab 2 sides & pull down gently. It'll come down a few inches and you'll be able to see inside, including the bulb. There are 2 spring loaded clips located across from each other. Squeeze each clip together & they'll pull down thru the small opening of the unit. Suggest you do one side first, then the other so you don't drop it. Once you get the hang of it, it's a fairly easy process.

Answer:	I think it is either 3" or 4". I would get the 70 CFM if room larger than 8' x 5'.

Answer:	There is 2 tabs on the lens . Take a small screw driver and push in on 1 tab it should release the light cover. The tab is about 1 inch wide. They are straight across from each other.
Question:	how do you remove motor and fan
Answer:	I had to climb through attic crawl space acces in adjoining bedroom and squeeze, wriggle my way til I was able to reach where fan was mounted(which wasn't easy, for I am a big guy). It was mounted on joists in bathroom ceiling. Make sure you bring all the tools you're gonna need because backing up was truly hard( I forgot some tools the first time up there) You have to remove the exhaust hose from unit first, then electrical connections. Removing the mounting wood screws was the hardest part cause the initial installers used 3 inch screws which were far too long for such an installation. I replaced them with 1 inch screws. Replacing the fan in reverse order. Screw in, make electrical connections then exaust hose. All in all it was way harder then I expected but was very satisfied with outcome and money I saved doing it myself.

Answer:	No it does not. I bought this because it is listed in the amazon description as having one. I went to install it and found the amazon description was wrong. I did not find their error until I went to install it and had to return it two months later. They allowed the return but despite the error being on their part, they only issued a partial refund. Answer:	I too had this question, as I recently found that the two existing V2262-50 foam dampers in our house had both completely disintegrated. During my search for a replacement, I learned that the sound rating for exhaust fans is measured in "sones", a scale similar to decibels. The V2262-50 is rated for 2.33 sones, per the product listing of a non-Amazon vendor. Using the Sones-to-Decibels conversion chart linked below, this translates to approximately 40 decibels, the equivalent of somewhere between a whisper and soft music: https://www.industrialfansdirect.com/pages/dba-sones-decibel-levels Bear in mind that the sound of a given fan will also be affected by the diameter of the exhaust ducting, the number of elbows in the run, and overall run length prior to the termination point. These three factors all contribute to resistance which the fan has to overcome to exhaust the air in the given room. Higher resistance = greater noise levels. Both of the bathroom exhaust duct runs in my house are comprised of 7" diameter rigid metal over straight vertical runs totaling less than 3' in length each. Based on my own experience with my two V2262-50's with this ducting configuration, the above estimation between a whisper and soft music checks out. Question:	how do i take old one out
Answer:	Assuming that it's a direct replacement (mine was), there are detailed instructions for installation in the box. Use them in reverse. Typically, you have to snap out the diffuser and unscrew the light bulb. that should expose a couple of screws that hold the inner panel in place. That further exposes the metal box which is screwed into the joist at some point. BEFORE doing anything, make sure that the power is off, preferably at the main circuit box. Answer:	I bought an A15 bulb with 120V 7W 500 Lumens, it was also meant for damp spaces. That will fit the 2 main sockets. The nightlight was, I think, an E-12 bulb. Check the manufacture's guide before your trip to the store.
