Question:	how much electricity does it cost to run
Answer:	I installed this replacement approximately 10 years ago. I remember that I had a NuTone 695 but I do not remember the cfm. The unit has worked fine all these years although it is somewhat noisy.
Question:	Is the heater energy efficient and does it heat well enough to tell a difference
Answer:	If you buy this replacement model C350BN. The motor and plate come attached together. On my old unit there was one or two screws that held the old plate/motor assembly into the ductwork portion. Remove the screw(s). I still had problems getting it out because when they plastered the ceiling, they plastered slightly over the plate. I had to break that plaster away to get it to drop out of the ceiling.
Question:	Can you use a regular light bulb in this instead of the 120W
Answer:	Just unplug from the built in receptacle. May be a sheet metal screw to take out. Pull that end down, opposite end has tabs. take out and reverse the order to install the new motor. No need to replace the can assuming it's still OK.

Answer:	Note that Nutone models have sub-models that take different parts. One must be sure of the full model designation, and the parts that will work with that model This (C350BN) replacement assembly works with the 8" X 7-1/4" housing version of the 696N, and not with the 7-1/2" X 7-1/4" Version. The 696-R02 B Model is the smaller size, and so this replacement assembly will not work. One has to use the 690NT (also called just 690) which has both adapter plates, a new grill, the motor and the fan. Answer:	IMPORTANT!! The Model 751 has no night light. if you want the night light you need to get the model 750. Answer:	I replaced a light, night light, fan combination with this model. The cover does measure 15" in diameter and covered the old site nicely. The model I purchased does not have a heater, nor did the unit I replaced.

Answer:	No, they are not. The housing size varies as does the grille size.

Answer:	The box holding the fan needs at least a 9” x 9” opening. However it comes with a circular face plate that needs a 13” diameter. This cut needs to be pretty precise or holes can be seen outside of the fan cover.

Answer:	No, it is only one speed with a pretty good torque however it will not strip the screws. The switch is either on or off and must be held for forward or reverse directions. Question:	What size bathroom will it heat and vent well
Answer:	We have a large master bath, about 10 x 12, and it does well in here as a supplement to our heat pump (we keep the rest of the house around 62 degrees in the winter). It takes it about 10 minutes to get it up to about 68. Ventilation is no problem, it works very rapidly in a bath this size.

Answer:	The HD80L fan light has several feature that enhance the performance of this model. THe 678 only offers 50 CFM with a plug-in, permanently lubricated motor. THe HD80L offers a little more power at 80 CFM and is designed for continuous operation. It is a little louder than the 678, but considered heavy duty since the motor can be continuous.

Answer:	This unit is an 80 CFM exhaust fan. It requires a 4" duct. It does not come with a 4" to 3" adapter. We would recommend a different model if you have a 3" duct. Please review models LPN80 and/or EZ80N. Both of these models have a reducer. We would suggest that you have rigid duct, and we would recommend that you have very short duct run.
