Answer:	If you use it to move air into the stove pipe from an outside source, the fan can be outside with a duct that enters the stove pipe midway. This would act like a venturi to force air upward. Think about adding a 45 degree t to your pipe and using this fane to draw cold air from outside and forcing it upwards in the pipe. You don't waste warm air and you get a really stoked fire.
Question:	Do you have to use controller or just plug fan in on a switched circuit
Answer:	You can hook up a speed control but it does not work very good and was not designed for one. When you start cutting down the power, the fan struggles and eventually stops leaving a loud humming or buzzing sound which does not sound good for the fan and may pose a fire hazard. If you want a variable controlled fan, just buy a fan that has variable control. I made the mistake of buying variable control with this fan. I ended up buying another fan that I could use this variable control on and it is more powerful and much quieter.

Answer:	If previous fan had dedicated wall switch it can replace. It has own ventilation but requires a 4" flexible hose. Draws 11.9 amps so a 15 amp circuit is acceptable. We have run this unit 24/7 and our first one lasted over 4 years when ran this much.

Answer:	Honestly I don’t know the answer but I have it in a wall that separates two room and when it’s on and I stand in the doorway I can feel a breeze moving. Answer:	Id say it depends on whether its an intake fan or an exhaust fan and how big the booth is. If its a small paint booth for small parts that isnt a lot of heavy spraying I'd say it would be perfect as either exhaust or intake. It can move a decent volume of air and fairly quietly. But if its a bigger booth, and heavy spraying i would recommend something a bit more heavy duty. Or at least bigger.

I have one installed in a basement closet where it pulls air under the door and vents the exhaust outside, which is skimming the bottom air where the radon gas lies, since it is heavier than air. I constantly measure the radon level and see a big decrease in the ambient radon level with the fan working. Just be sure you have makeup air, which allows for good air flow.

Answer:	When you using a HPS light..you need .3 (point three) to remove heat.For example....1000 watts X .3 is 300...so you will need 300 CFM worth of filters to remove heat.The fan has to push more than 300CFM,like 750 CFM and it helps to know what the fan pushes out.Then you remove smell with the rest of the CFM.

We can guarantee that TerraBloom Variable Fan Speed Controller (sold separately on Amazon) does work with booster fans including this one, however, we can't guarantee that any speed controller on the market will work the same because many of them are designed for larger centrifugal fans and we received feedback from customers that they didn't work. 2. The adjustable speed range of the motor of this booster fan is roughly 20-25%, which means that you can decrease the speed roughly by quarter of the overall power before you will start hearing motor "hum", which is a sign that the fan's motor is not getting enough power to operate as designed. Do not decrease the speed of your booster fan past that point, because if the motor is left "humming" it will decrease the useful life of the unit. You can safely decrease the output of this fan by around 20-25% before the hum will be audible and it will significantly reduce the sound produced by the movement of air though the fan (it will be much quieter!) without putting extra strain on the motor and jeopordizing its useful life. Answer:	The fan is extremely quiet. I can barely hear it. I'd guess, and it's a guess, maybe 45 decibels. Maybe 1.0 sones

Answer:	I don't have a way to measure the decibels. I have mine about 3 feet from the exit of my duct work with a thin air filter at the end to keep bugs out. So there isn't much material to muffle the sound but my exact setup is silent when standing 15+ feet away. Otherwise alone the unit sounds like a restroom exhaust fan, just a little more smooth. Answer:	It blows to the outside - not to remove heat but to remove moisture from a bathroom. The purpose of the unit is two fold. One, it ventilates air from the bathroom to outside. It attaches to ducting in the attic and to a vent on the roof or wall to the outside. The heat lamps radiate heat to keep you warm before, after, or during bathing. The black piece is where the ducting attaches in the attic. It as a damper included. It closes off the outside air when the vent fan is turned off.

Answer:	You should check your local building codes. Generally it is not permissible to vent a bathroom exhaust fan into another interior space, even a void space (like an attic, or between the walls.) This is especially true if you have a tub or shower in the bathroom.
Question:	My wall is 11.5 thick. Can i install it
Answer:	On high it's not real quiet but if it's the only thing on in the room you can hear it. If you turn it down it makes almost no noise but it won't push much air at that level. I wouldn't buy this product again for what I was trying to do. I was trying to heat/cool and adjacent 12 x 12 room and there just isn't enough volume to be that effective. Noise wise its like a small bathroom fan I suppose.
