Question:	Why can’t I get this furnace hot enough to melt copper? This is my fifth attempt
Answer:	I set the regulator to 0.12 MPa, the ball valve full open and the burner disc about 1/2 inch open. For more heat you can raise the pressure on the regulator or open the burner disc more. I also coated the inside of the furnace wool with a refractory coating.(just search for foundry refractory coating.)
Question:	How long would it take to melt 5kg of copper
Answer:	Depends on what youre putting in. Something with a lot of impurities that will give you lots of slag to scrape will take you a while to get that 5kg crucible full of relatively pure copper. Also, what form is the material you are melting? 5 kilos of fine wire or mesh will melt faster than a big chunk. In my experience using this for brass (slightly lower temp melting point than copper), I was able to melt, flux, and scrape dross from a full 5 kilo crucible in maybe half an hour or 40 minutes. The furnace itself reaches well over copper's melting point, so I dont imagune copper would take much longer than brass. Keep in mind I'm not an expert, tgis is just my experience.

Answer:	I have about 2 1/2 hours into one tank and I'd say it has a 1/3-1/4 left in it

Answer:	It is made in china. But the thickness of the main body is .065 steel progressive extrusion casing with lid, the venturi propane connection is a welded pipe configuration. This could be made by americans, it would cost more and last longer.

Answer:	I own the 20000 BTU unit has a pilot that is manually lit by piezo. Pilot can be turned off when heating not needed. I can't speak for the rest but suspect they work the same way.

Answer:	Yes, there have been units with success over 4,500 ft, what this means is we aren't able to guarantee successful operation of these heaters are higher than 4,500 ft.

Answer:	I recently insulated a 14’ x 20‘ workshop attachment on my garage. I got this heater and before I bought a big tank I tried it on a 10 pound tank from my grill. It was set on number one setting the temperature outside was in the 30s and I got 64 hours out of it holding just over 60°. So I figure a 20 pound bottle should last me little over five days. So I’m going to get a 30 pound bottle that way I only have to refill about once a week. Warmer weather less often, I hope this helps.

Question:	Can u use propane tank from a grill and how long would it last
Answer:	Quick math says about 17 hrs on full tank. This heater has a high and low output, controlled by the thermostat, not the user. One gallon propane would last approx 4 hours. A full 20 lb tank holds about 4.5 gallons.
Question:	how long does it last on a small propane tank
Answer:	The 1# tank will ice up and slowly turn off the heater on anything but the lowest setting. That lasts about 2 hours. A little buddy heater with 4K/9K Btu works best with the 1# cylinders. I have the hose hookup for a 20# tank and it's nice to have the option of using either size. You have to light this one with a lighter which is just another thing to forget to pack.
Question:	Just tried to make coffee on it and the grill started to collapse is there a sturdier grill for it
Answer:	As far as I know... No. A simular thing happened to me. I reattached the grill using good old fashioned wire hanger twisted. This was only a temporary fix.
Question:	Did anyone get the "foot" for the 1 lb. bottles and is it a worthwhile add-on
Answer:	Not sure what you're referring to. The one lb. bottle hangs suspended when connected. I wouldn't recommend getting this model. Get the model MH12C if you can. The regulator broke after a couple months and I couldn't return it. Instead I bought the regulator that was for the MH12C and adapted it to fit the MH15C. Since then it's been working great for a year. I also recommend purchasing the hose adapter so you can run off a 20 lb. bottle. It'll last a lot longer

Answer:	A one pound bottle on medium setting will last about 1-1/2 hour so figure at least 25 hrs for a 20 pounder.

Answer:	We just had our heater installed in our 12 x 20 garage and the ceiling height is probably 7 ft. We have it set at 55. I am sure this would more than heat your area. My installer told me that I could of used a smaller unit. Hope this helps you. We love ours.

Question:	the dimensions of the furnace are not shown. it says "12.8kg" but what are the dimensions inside and out
Answer:	Caowool is fine to use as is, but if you really want added protection, you can add 2 or 3 thin layers of satanite, which is a mortar-like coating. FYI, using satanite will probably void your warranty.
Question:	Do you have to do anything special to the cottonlike material inside or is it ok to burn as is
Answer:	Yes it will. I have melted both copper and aluminum will be doing a brass melt soon still have lots of copper to due. It you are having problems melting you need to adjust your gas settings. Please use all safety gear and precautions.
Question:	Furnace will not melt copper
Answer:	It is highly advised you don't. This forge is explicitly made for up to Gold/Copper 1983F, not Steel, which is 2600 - 2800. Doing so will likely melt/warp the air intake and outer shell.

Question:	is this model an updraft
Answer:	It runs on natural gas. I don't know if there is a conversion unit available. A Goodman representative would be able to answer that question.

Answer:	Yes, you can take return air out of the bottom or either side.
Question:	My air return in on the bottom, not the side. Will this unit work for me? (furnace closet is in an indoor heated hallway
Answer:	You'll need some wire to hook it up, and you'll have to build a return box for it to sit on, because return is on very bottom, and you'll need a thermastat if you don't have one already as well as a place to vent the exhaust along with exhaust pipe. Other than that I installed this. New gas line, wired it up, built return box along with running all my duct work and connecting it to vents downstairs and upstairs in about 10hrs out of the box. And this was my first time ever doing anything like this! So you should have no problem. FYI if you have an old furnace, there's a chance the thermastat wire runs into a breaker box and converted to 24 volt before entering old furnace!! If this is the case you can just bypass all of it because this furnace gas it's own 24v supply for thermastat( and if it is old thermastat you'll only have 2 wires to hook up, only on thermastat that runs your central air will you have to worry about hooking up more! See the instruction booklet for wiring diagram!(wich for some reason was inside the furnace!! Had to remove both front covers to get to it) you'll have to remove them either way during installation to get to everything. Oh yeah you'll need a few pcs of gas line because female adapter is inside funace I just brought mine straight out the top and u'ed it around and connected gas line" mega lock is your Freind"!!!
Question:	what eles we need to make it run, not asking the air pipes to the room and not the gas pipe, but .what else
Answer:	It is a relatively inexpensive bow. I wouldn't expect any warranty support from manufacturer. Depending upon which seller you buy from you may have some options to return a defective item if you should happen to get one. My older daughter has been using this bow for 7 months now. She plays a lot. This bow have been a great performer for her.
