It keeps my work space at 55 F when its in the teens outside.3) CFM is around 300 to 400. At 8' it feels like a strong draft.

Answer:	You can install the supplied bracket with a single centered lag bolt. It is a very sturdy bracket, so no worries about one lag as long as you're in a ceiling joist. We put washers above and below and tightened the lag to the point where we can still swivel the heater.

Answer:	No. The bulbs are very hot and would likely shatter if splashed. You can have them in a bathroom outside the shower or tub where they'd shine on you while your're toweling off, but not directly over the ub.

Answer:	I would not recommend installing this anywhere that a drop of water could splash or spray on the hot bulbs which are exposed. better to install outside of the shower enclosure, in an area that remains dry and protected from overspray.

Answer:	Yes, in fact it is wired for that and the instructions describe how to wire it both ways: with 2 heat lamps (controlled by one switch), or with one heat and one illumination lamp (using two separate switches). Answer:	I have a 20x30x10h shop. Lots of windows coverage. Non insulated floors above open front20x30x8 area. On a 30 degree day with help of a overhead fan it get up to 60. But must have a fan to move the air or I notice the area around heater warms up and shuts fan off early. Have heard about the temp wire being moved outside of heater may try that. Once the max temp you set is reached it does want to cycle on and off constantly. I just turn it off. It’s extremely nice to have. I haven’t seen a electric bill yet or used it more than a couple of hours aday. It’s definitely a 8 guage wire and 40 amp install. Im happy .

Question:	Can heater be installed in floor
Answer:	The heater is designed to be installed in the wall 4" above the floor. It would not be recommended being installed in the floor.
Question:	I just received my new heater. Are the interior components supposed to be connected to the can with just one screw? It seems a bit insecure
Answer:	there are a couple tabs down on the bottom of the unit that hold that part in- seems to be solid
Question:	How do you wire this up for 250 or 500 watts? i only need it to pul between 250-500 as the space i am heating is small and power is very limted
Answer:	This can be wired for several wattages during installation, including 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1250 and 1500 watts. Please see installation guide included with the heater for requirements.
Question:	How long do these typically last? i have an older dec2422 from 2009 that i may need to replace already
Answer:	I have five of these that I installed as part of room by room remodels starting in 1998-99, replacing old baseboard heaters. One is a 120v and the rest are this model. We vacuum them occasionally, and twice a year we pull the grills off and clean them more thoroughly. All but one are doing fine. The one that is starting to fail is in our main bathroom. We think it's failing due to all the moisture in there since we have three teens lined up every morning for hot showers. Even then, that one's lasted 14 or 15 years, and we're replacing it with another just like it as part of a larger remodel (along with better ventilation). All the other heaters are working fine, including the ones we bought in the late 90's. I'm happy with these heaters, and plan to stick with the King brand.

Answer:	On high, the unit operates at ~6000 watts. This equates to 20,472 btu/hr. This assumes 100% electrical efficiency. A solid assumption would be 20k btu. (1 BTU = 0.00029307107017 kWh)

Answer:	The BTU is 20,500 and at HIGH, this heater draws 25 amps
Question:	Can this unit be used with an in line thermostat? i.e. will it come on when power is supplied to it
Answer:	Yes if you can find one with the right amperage rating. I used a two pole contactor and used a 120v 20 amp thermostat as the switch
Question:	What is the largest space/area in sq-ft that it can heat at full power? Can't find this info anywhere
Answer:	My shop is 30ft x 30ft well insulated I North Ms. I will get it up to 60+ deg easy in 30-40 deg winter which is comfortable to work in, so I does what I expected. My main purpose was to have it set to keep shop above freezing and not have a heater on the floor. I set it for around 45. Did not notice a huge jump in power bill. Hope this helps.
