Answer:	The air flows in through the back and out the front. I do not see any reason you could not sit this on concrete. I would not sit it on anything but concrete because it gets pretty hot.

Answer:	Yeah I returned my DR-975. It doesn't turn on when power is applied to it, so any automated system that powers it on a schedule will not work. You have to use the remote to turn it on manually. Also my interior thermostat wasn't working, when I switched to wall thermostat it would work just fine--even no wall thermostat was installed. So I don't know what's going on there. I just bought the 966 again since on Home Depot it's actually advertised at 1000sqft heating capacity.

Answer:	I would say that it is not normal unless you are trying to heat too much space. My Dr. infrared heater kicks on an off as it reaches the temperature set on the thermostat. I have noticed that if I try to heat more than one room it will not kick off because it cannot get the temperature up in that larger space.

Question:	Is wattage adjustable
Answer:	The wattage is determined by max setting. You can dial down the temp but you will still need a double pile 80 amp breaker along with a 6/3 & 8/1 SEOW 50 Amp cord and a 50 Amp NEMA 3R power inlet box. Well worth the cost to warm a building during plaster phase of construction

Answer:	This is not an infrared heater so the coils do not turn red.
Question:	how may square feet will this heat
Answer:	I have a 20x20 un-insulated shop with 8 foot ceilings and when it was 25 degrees outside I turned it on and turned the dial to 3/4's of the way and it kicked the heat element off in 15 minutes. And it would cycle the heating element back on in about the same amount of time but once the shop was warmer the heating element was kicked off the 2nd time and on in about 7 minutes. This is the best heater I have ever had and I have had many high BTU heaters running off propane and kerosene and diesel fuels. this is total electric so no smell or hauling fuel. I wouldn't hesitate using this is a 40x40 shop it may take longer to heat up but once heated I don't think there would be a problem.
Question:	Is the fan very loud? Could it be used in a large room while a meeting is taking place
Answer:	This is rather subjective. The fan is quieter than I expected but it still makes some noise. You can stand next to it and hold a conversation in close to a normal voice.

Question:	Instructions for the dr-910f specify that an optional wall thermostat must support 240v and be wired with 16awg. any other thermostat requirements
Answer:	On my heater I use the thermostat that came installed on the heater. Have had no problems using it this way. On the instructions it states optional that to me says to me you don't need another thermostat. Hope this helps.

Answer:	My shop is 900 square feet with 9 foot ceilings and I set built in thermostat and it heats it well and the fan really moves the air is why it really is efficient
Question:	I need help mounting to a large wood beam up high in my barn. I don’t understand the hardware in the kit to do a wall mount
Answer:	There should be a leaflet in the box that shows different mounting positions with the furnished L-bracket. Said L-bracket can be mounted either to a horizontal or vertical surface (assuming it will support the weight of the unit). Then the U-shaped bracket bolts with one bolt to the L-shaped bracket. The unit hangs in the U-shaped bracket as pictured in the listing with a knob-headed bolt on each side.

Answer:	I used 240/volt, 30 amp Breaker from my Panel. The heater setting on low is 3KW and on High it is 6KW. On low would be 12.5 amps and on high would be 25 amps.
