In any case, carbon filters will have the very same pleated surfaces, and will trap just as much dust and hair as non-carbon, and BOTH types will typically last 60-90 days. The 'activated carbon' ones are better at odor trapping, but even that doesn't last till the end of the filter (Carbon is porous and fills up rapidly as stuff flows over it) |
