Answer:	NO, it is not, a TRUE H.E.P.A. filter, is 99.97% dust free down to 0.3 of a micron. However, a TRUE H.E.P.A. has been tested and can back up the claims made via a independent test done on that particular filter and can show you the testing data. NOTE THE PERIODS BETWEEN THE LETTERS. These filters are "HEPA LIKE", plus you are paying for the 3M name. Spend less get the same filtration.

Answer:	Well along performance difference .... filtrete and Honeywell are different sizes. 20x30x1 is a rounded number. So one could be 20.2” and another could be 20.4” Honeywell fits PERFECTLY in my system Filtrete same 20x30x1 ... does not. Be aware of that.

Answer:	I do not know, I do not smoke. Keep in mind a lot of scents are embedded in the fabric of furniture, carpets, etc. All this is doing is filtering the air. I would still give it a shot though because it does work well for pets.

Answer:	I purchased the tape to seal my gas furnace flue joints because of its ability to maintain its sealing properties and integrity in the high heat environment generated by a furnace. That being said, it would seem to be prohibitively expensive for the application suggested (taping foam to a garage door). Perhaps a less expensive alternative should be explored.

Answer:	I have never removed it while it was still adhered to the pipe. It will loosen itself if the temp exceeds 550 to 600*

Answer:	No. Aluminum isn’t durable when exposed to wood combustion byproducts, and it’s unlikely your peak temperature is below 600F. For a wood stove the correct way to seal the flue is to have a stove pipe that makes a tight friction fit on the outlet collar. If you have and old out of round tube with a snap-together seam buy a new tube with a welded seam. If you still can’t get as good a seal as you want, the only things I know of that will survive the 2100F temperature of an over-firing of the stove, a failed catalytic converter, or a chimney fire are 2000F muffler and tailpipe sealants, refractory cement, kaolin wool refractory material, and “water glass”. These are all cured at high temperature because they all use “water glass” as a binder (glue). Water glass is silica (glass) dissolved in (alkaline) water. The filler material in muffler cement/sealer/putty and refractory cement are similar, the grain size is smaller in the muffler products making them more useful in tight spaces. Kalolin wool is a non-asbestos mineral fiber available in thin wool strips and ropes that might’ve be useful for sealing stove outlet. All of these should be used to seal the inside of the joint. Combustion products would tend to erode the area of a leak and make an external seal ineffective in the long run.

Answer:	I am not sure I fully understand your question. When it comes to merv rating you need to balance your filter needs/wants vs efficiency. The higher the merv the smaller the particles filtered, but the higher your power use as your air handler has to work harder to pull through the finer filter. According to the USGBC LEED standards, a minimum of merv 13 must be used for all recirculated air.Merv 6 = 300 mprMerv 8 = 600 mprMerv 11 = 1000-1200 mpr (this filter)Merv 13 = 1500-1900 mpr.I chose this filter because it seemed like a reasonable compromise of filtration, efficiency and cost.I hope this helps. :)

Answer:	The carbon particles are on the back side, yup, and they fall off. Do yourself a favor and buy a different filter and then buy one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000U204W2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (which are very good by the way). The filter you are asking about also seems to have a very mild odor (maybe from the glue they spray on to hold the carbon particles on, not sure). The filter material itself is also almost like hair or fiberglass or something - suffice to say the whole design of the filter is just comically bad if you asked me. I tried installing the filter backwards (carbon side out) but the filter material started coming off and being sucked into the air duct. As mentioned, the carbon particles fall off all over the place, even with gentle handing of the filters. From an engineering standpoint, this filter is an absolute disgrace and should have never made it past even the R&D stage. I highly doubt much of the carbon or whatever they have attempted to adhere to the backside is doing much. An inexpensive carbon filter pad and a traditional replaceable filter work far, far better.

My use for this light is in a studio where it doesn't get moved around much. If you are going to be taking this light out to remote shoots, you might want to consider something with a more durable build (although at this price, you can get a couple more in case it breaks, and still be under the price of a 120d). I believe the new Aputure Amaran 100d's have battery mounts, which aren't generally available yet, but will come in at a similar price point.

Answer:	We no longer make the Ionic Silver Stick and it has been replaced by the Hydro Cell. Furthermore, the Aqua Pro has activated carbon built into the filter so you would not need both. You could however use both for more protection and purifying of your water. Hope that helps!
