Answer:	No, I haven't used it to cover unfiltered 9" Zeyphyr hurricane fans. I just pulled up a picture of it but it's hard to determine if this hook or latch option added on allowing this filter to slide and lock, I'm sure it will work.

If nothing else take the model # to (or call) Lowe’s or Home Depot and they can look it up for you. Of course, they’re always cheaper on Amazon from my experience. Sorry I couldn’t tell you for sure but hopefully this will give you a little direction.

Answer:	My application didn’t include a duct type fan but I can say that the springs that control the damper are not tight and respond (or open) wirh my furnace blower. As such I’d say that you’ll be okay with it.

Answer:	Inside. But I had to cut ~6" axial slots into the duct to receive the damper plate pivot rod (which is longer than the duct is wide).
