Answer:	Fairly quiet. I have to get within a few feet of it to be able to hear it. Then it is just a normal hum of a fan.

Answer:	Depends on how deep the gap between the walls are. If you have a crawl space i between the wall. It will not work and you will need a vent extension/ ducting to fit the fan. Answer:	My panel had Black and red wire with tight connectors to connect the fan wires into it . I did have a question like you and I remember calling the manufacture either by looking it up on the Internet or finding the name and phone number in the packaging. They did call me back and we’re very helpful . It is a small fan and does not put out much air movement . But the solar panel is decent size and powerful I will eventually find another fan to connect to it .

Answer:	Yes, it runs continuously when it receives light. You may purchase a Broan thermoswitch which will shut it off if the temp is less than 50 deg F (which means it'll basicaly run all the time). I purchased the thermoswitch for the Natural Light brand because it turns on at 80 and off at 70 (added benefit: it's cheaper). For my climate in Los Angeles, that range is preferable (I would think the same in other climates, too). To install, just clip off the black male spade connector of the Broan and replace it with a female and reconnect with the switch in series. The wiring that comes with the switch is not used. It's easy and it works!

Answer:	Our unit is located on the Ocean and we have had storms but no hurricanes since it was installed.

Answer:	Only if the tiles are relatively flat. Broan's website indicates the fan is designed for a "shingled" roof. Not much clearance between the base and the fan housing, but it woks great.

Answer:	The instructions mention to place this a certain distance from the ridge vents, so it acknowledges them and seems to indicate it is compatible

It works at night, as long as the attic is 80 degrees (or more), and runs on your home's electricity. Then, when the sun returns, it automatically converts back to solar power. Answer:	I think they say onother sites like 600...but let me say a few things here do not be miss lead by their descriptions....1).It does nove air but if you put your hand by the flow you can barely feel it......2) It does not move constantly after charging or contantly as description says 3) I contacted customer service to figure out why mine only rens when in direct sun and I was only contacted bt email from an outscorced person from not only another country but another planet who couldn't answer my question or suggested I need to buy another unit if I wasnt happy with this one.....Do more research !!!!!!!! i probabbly would not buy this again !!!!!!!

Answer:	I think in very well might be better to install 2 of them. I have a single level 2400--but has a bonus room above garage--and a very tall attic space. I got 1 and it is only cooling my attic 10 degrees or so in the heat of the afternoon. I may look to buy a 2nd one later on down the road.

Answer:	Yes, but I would call a licensed roofing contractor. It's worth it.I had one install it on my house and don't regret it a bit. The fan does a great job of helping my house stay cooler.

Answer:	On 16" on center construction, the installer can either cut a 14" hole between the rafters or cut a 19" hole with the roof rafter running through the hole... Never cut through any framing members. On 24" on center construction, center the fan between the rafters and cut a 19"hole.

Answer:	warranty for a year for the fan,5 year for the soalar panel, totally take responsible for damage or lost in transit. Any issue will be followed by professional customers service team.
Question:	Has anyone gauge the attic heat tempreture reduction as a result of using this
Answer:	I did not measure the temperature difference, but it did not seem to make a difference. The fan does run quite strong so I suspect that it does pull heat out of the attic (that is, after you reverse the fan in its shroud so that it blows outward). However, I was very disappointed, after the fan motor completely died after two years.
Question:	Can this get wet? Weatherproof
Answer:	I mounted it in the roof gable vent and covered it with the slotted vent cover, so it doesn't get wet unless the rain is horizontal. Anyway, the motor burned out after two years. I don't recommend this product. I'm going to remove it and install a hard-wired electric attic vent fan.
Question:	Can someone recommend a thermostat to install with this fan
Answer:	It does not have a place to plug in for a thermostat. I purchased a thermostat and did not use it. I have installed others that have a place to just plug a thermostat in. I would search for one of those fans.

Question:	Does this have a/c as backup power
Answer:	I installed this fan to vent my loft area of my shed. I just mounted it to the framing around the window to blow the hot air out. Set the temp to 110% and installed louvers outside the window to prevent rain from coming in. I did see these marks you are referring to, but the fan has worked great for the past three years.

Answer:	I'm not sure what you're asking. It does have a control on it which can be set for it to come on when temperature hits the threshold.
Question:	Is the solar panel attached to the fan unit like it is on the 36 watt model, or is it installed separately
Answer:	You can mount this horizontally, but IMO, the CFM is likely insufficient to vent a garage similar to a whole house fan.
