There was a manual integration that a SmartThings user did, but even this one is now defunct. |

As others have stated, it does notify you EVERY time the door opens or closes (which can be somewhat annoying if you have a busy household) and you can always look to see the state of each door (open or closed). However my need was for the app to AUTOMATICALLY notify me if the door was open after a certain period or for longer than a certain time. Sadly the current Android app does NOT have this capability (version 1.9.0.68). Happily the iPhone app (version 2.0.32) DOES have this capability. I have set mine up to automatically close the door if it is open after 10 PM or for longer than 4 hours no matter the time. Problem solved, but only with the iPhone app. |
